Thanks so much for your tutorials, everyone else just blah blah blah and doesn't teach anything, you on the other hand give real useful info. Thanks a bunch
Sweet! thank you! This fancy shmancy button hole foot was kickin my butt!! You helped out this old gal! Thank you for the clear and to the point tutorial!
Thank you for the demo dude! I've been looking for days to find a vid that shows if the Bernina has a one step automatic button hole stitch. Looking to replace my old machine. My machine, an Activa 130 , I love it but the button hole stitch, claims it's automatic, it is not, has a 4 step button hole, somebody shoot me, is such a pain. THANKS!
The video is quite helpful but I have a problem . . . as I make the buttonholes on my practice fabric (lining, main and interfacing) the hole comes out perfectly; however, when I attempt it on the garment, the foot doesn't move. Yikes, what a mess to take out. Ideas?
Yes there is a buttonhole compensation "tool" I need to finish the video for it (studio renovation put my videos on a halt) However this attachment that your button hole foot attaches to is AMAZING it will solve your issue for sure.
Glad you liked the video. so to be able to make a larger opening without making a longer button hole, is when you go to change the length to accommodate the button on that "i" screen there is another button that has a (.6) it's the button directly to the right of the button we pressed to make the button hole the correct length. This button will make the button hole gap wider without lengthening the button hole for that thicker button. Hope this makes some sense.
I have heard the manuals are not the best in the world. I have heard this from many people over the last 12 years. Another reason I created the videos. So happy I am able to help.
Thanks Cody & Pete first time using my 770 plus to make a buttonhole you make things so easy!

can you display & give as much information possible on the Bernina 590CE, because I am going to buy it soon, please?
Thankyou so much !
You're welcome! :)
Great explanation and instructions. How would I extend the stitch length for a larger bottom opening? Thanks!

I love your videos! I recently bought the 480 after having the 1030 for 30 years. It’s been a bit of an adjustment and I find the manual so confusing.
