Y’all really drove our prices down this year. That and the Rice Rabies and abundant crop.
Lowest prices in America in 15 years.
    Good video by the way.

I am fascinated by these machines and their ability to shell these pecans without breaking them. I want a pecan orchard one day. For now I get my fix by picking pecans for free wherever I can find them.

The humble pecan, Texas native, sought by Spanish explorers, local Indian tribes and in the early 1800s American settlers from the South and Midwest.

So the workers that touch the pecans BEFORE the shell comes off are suited up with sterilized gloves, mask and hairnets...
The guys and or gals that are actually touching the nut are barehanded....
One of those things that make you say...hmmmm.
Pretty cool operation though...I'm afraid I'll have to stick with my pliers though.

bro none of the workers have gloves and they didn't show if they people dealing with the actual nuts had hairnets or not, so it's safe to assume that they are. Check your facts kid
