Like many car enthusiasts, I'd heard of the Gelendawagen as far back as the early 80s, but I've never seen one until the early 2000s. I'd buy one if I could get it with a turbo diesel engine powering it. I'd prefer this any day over what's being offered today by Mercedes-Benz.
One of my favourite cars of all time. One of my old Directors had a green one back around 1990. I just wish I had the money to own one.
