The concept of eco-friendly ganesha is good but it for common man spending 20k on murthi is over the budget. ECO-FRIENDLY is just an idea afforded by rich or by expense planners. The average budget of of whole 10 days is 10k min to 13k max.Share my view because such idea need to be spread among other idol artist.
How do you know the colors are not harmful and toxic in water? This is another way of fooling people by making fancy Ganesha and selling them the same non-eco friendly ones. We are good for nothing. We are good only for making business. uhh, sad.

Earlier Ganesh idols used to be made of clay. And they would have a coin in the idol. And these idols were to be dissolved in Ponds/Lakes. Now the reason for dissolution is this- in order to retrieve the coins, people would walk in the pond. This would set the clay in pond and this is supposed to be effective rainwater harvesting method. This process ensures that rainwater doesn't drain away from pond. This is the reason widely prevalent in Tamil Nadu.
*All idols are so nice👌👌...* *Say no to pop....use clay idols (as much as possible) it will not only save our environment but also protect our virtue gained by worship....if not available then use idol of paper mache or other eco friendly material*
My kind request pls tell sir if he really want to make it 100 percent eco-friendly then don't use stones beads and artificial colour for decoration .it is not 100 percent eco-friendly ,even small beads and stones go in fish stomach it will cause major trouble
But they are doing in Sea on name of eco-friendly they are mis leading important info,everyone no about it but inspite of that people do visrjan in Sea or lake
