Cliff I thoroughly enjoy the camping video's actually there's not many of your video's that I dislike at all, Cook Forest State Park is an amazingly beautiful park thanks so much for sharing this beautiful park, the little squirrel definitely gets an A for effort lol he was so cute, thanks again, had to add the Doe is beautiful she was so still like you said she looked just like a statue lovely, she probably had her babies hid
I saw this episode was up when I went to bed and watched it in my PJ's Cliff. Worked out good as you were taking it easy after that hiking all day too. That light was pretty good, thanks for the demo. Mmmmmmmm, the eggs looked good, that helps the food taste better too. Glad they did not taste like wet corn puff cereal. LOL
What a lovely video. I hope you left a little food for your friends. A gorgeous place to stay. Here in Australia you would probs have kangaroos and possums after food. Thanks for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care
Cast Iron cooking is so much fun! We noticed a ton of chipmunks & squirrels (rather vocal squirrels!) while we were there too! They had no problem coming up and being up close and personal!! Keep making memories & adventure on! ~Karen & Shannon WOY
I think people have fed the squirrels and chipmunks, and they have become opportunistic. Better those little critters than the bears. I really enjoy camping with you, Cliff. Thank you for taking folks with you.
So odd to hear someone say chipmunk and they are not talking about a cartoon. Out here in the west of PA at Pittsburgh, and the place you visited Raccoon Park, we call them grinny. Eggs, add salt and mustard. They would be better. When we camped, I would take a can of apple pie filling and some extra cinnamon, put the in the pan, and pour the pancake batter on that. Great breakfast, or dessert in the evening. I have even filled the whole pan with the apple mix and pancake mix and cooked it through similar to a dutch baby. But you would need a lid and some coals on the top.
I saw where you can make pancakes out of muffin mixes to have variety like choc chip, berry. You'll have to google it to see how to make them tho, I don't remember. I"d camp alot there too, free entertainment. yea chipmunks are cute but are very destructive, last couple of years they have taken over at my house.
Please visit Tionesta while you're in the area! It's a beautiful little town and has a ton of history. (I've emailed you on things there before). Forest county in general is very beautiful and there's lots to see.
For a moment there I thought it was going to be Blair Witch Project part 2. You need some Dash- used to be Mrs Dash. as a condiment for your re hydrated food. Next time give the eggs to the chipmunk and squirrel- that'll scare them off :)
Greetings from Sierra Vista Arizona!Nice video Cliff. Pennsylvania is a beautiful place. I think I would avoid going into the woods after dark. Or during daylight. Especially if a bear was seen. I remember reading about a camper/hiker being killed in N. Carolina a year or two ago. Safe travels.
I think those are pine squirrels. The chipmunks are cracking me up! Hahaha! Also the next time if you do eggs, after your pancakes are made throw the eggs in the skillet and fry them in some butter. Probably taste a little better instead of straight out of the bag like you had. Just a thought! Have safe travels on your journey, thank you for sharing!!
Mountain House meals, in my opinion, are ok. Their scrambled eggs aren't the greatest. I like their biscuits and gravy when I'm out backpacking. Peak refuel has the best flavor of all the "backpacking" meals if you ask me.
A lot of people leaving comments about feeding the cute chipmunks, they have learnt to hang around campsites for an easy meal. When they can't get one they can be a little destructive looking for one. Lol
I have eaten 15 miles back from the nearest road better than what you cook while camping. On a three day trip to a state Park. Frozen hamburger, hotdogs, even steak will last three days with a decent cooler. Every state park has an ice machine. Just replenish the ice. Fresh eggs will last three days without a cooler. I always take them along back packing. A bag of charcoal and a grill would make life feel just like home. Just saying. Leave the back packing meals at home, I know you can do it!!
Don't eat any pork products of late because I found trichinosis worms live and well with little red lines in them and they were in the snack sticks like slim jim Style but it wasn't slim jim brand🔨🐿scoop
nifty flashlight. Cool beans. Great day of camping. You are living the life, Cliff. Godspeed.
He's soo wittle 🥰🐾
So serene and peaceful! 🌴💖☕
For freeze dried food adding some hot sauce always helps me get them down.

I watch this over and over , really really cool video , you made me feel like I was right there , thank you 💕🌷🍒🍄😎😎🍄🍒🌷💕
Cliff, the squirrel does own the place! You're his guest!
😂. They look all cute and cuddly til they’re climbing up your leg. 😂. Funniest line ever. Thanks for the chuckle.
😂 I thought the same thing! 😂
Nice to see a relaxing camping video

I use that same brand of freeze dried egg stuff. I take along tortillas and use it as breakfast burrito 🌯

Thought I would see Cliff the long haired sasquatch out there in the woods.Maybe he was😉
Chip Monks like scrambled eggs 🙌
Throw a can of refried beans in those eggs and a few tortillas, basic breakfast burritos.

I saw at my local park a doe with triplets and a 4 point buck. I think the herd is about 8. So nice to see a healthy herd

"When nature calls!"
Eggs without jalapenos??
Otherwise, our cooking styles are the same.
(Smile)
Looks like corn pops 😅
No butter on your pancakes!? 😒
Bigfoot.
Just need some ketchup or hot sauce for the eggs. 😊
