apart from automating searches can you automate tasks on the desktop so that you have a virtual assistant that you can talk to which does stuff on a headless browser for you ?

As always- your demonstrations are clear and helpful! How much effort would it take to get the agent to propose solutions for each of the problems that it found? There are ample sources of help in identifying problems, fewer sources of solutions - ai's promise needs to be in the solution space for challenges like SEO.
This is really a good point. I am pretty sure it can give u solution based on the issues. Such as it can automatically generate those meta description , optimised titles if requested to do so.
Effort it minimal. Even for the example I showed in the video, it’s just one prompt
@@MervinPraison It should be able to generate a meta description and probably even the keywords too. I bet it could generate microformats pretty easily once it has those two pieces. It might be able to re-render the markup of a page to fix alt tags though there's probably more work there in bringing that into your website's codebase.

Honestly, I dont see any real unique value in Devin so far .. all what I see from dozens of videos about Devin are more likely to be promoting what it could be capable of, but even failed to deliver the essence of its core value as autonomous AI agents .. the are way behind other frameworks like - Pythagora (AKA GPT Pilot), Devika, Plandex, ChatDev, CrewAI, AutoGen, Codel, GPT Engineering, ....etc [And yes I have intensively used and tried them all and re-test them over time to track the updates and enhancements if any] , so instead of them trying to promote that they are the NEXT BIG THING while they are not and doubt that they will be someday if they still convinced being closed-sourced and forcing the use of OpenAI APIs , I advise to leave this to the community to judge their worthiness. I highly regarding your work Marvin and surely a big fan .. and you deserve way better than this .. with all due respect, but you yourself if you gave some extra time and effort on your outstanding project PraisonAI , you would be a way a head from Devin. wish you the best caz you simply deserve it .. cheers and keep up the good work!
True , I agree with you that other similar frameworks can do the same thing. Just creating videos because not everyone got access to Devin yet, so I could show the world my test findings.
