▼〈Overview〉概要
It is the central district of the Port of Mikawa, consisting of the East District with a total area of 96 hectares and the West District with a total area of 120 hectares, with a total length of 3,540 meters of public wharves with water depths of 4 to 12 meters. The East District is actively used for the domestic loading of finished automobiles and the loading of scrap, while the West District is used not only for the export of finished automobiles, but also as a base for the import of various foreign cars, especially with the successive entry of foreign automobile companies since the early 1990s.
三河港の中心となる地区で、総面積96haの東地区と120haの西地区からなり、水深4ｍから12ｍの公共岸壁が総延長3,540ｍ整備されています。東地区では完成自動車の国内への積出やスクラップの積出が盛んに行われ、西地区では完成自動車の輸出の他、特に90年代初頭からの外資系自動車企業の相次ぐ進出により、様々な外国車の輸入拠点となっています。
