I grew up in a church that taught that wearing jewelry with crosses was wrong because of idolatry. They even said if Jesus died in a wheelchair, would we wear a wheelchair around our necks? I remember thinking how messed up that rationale was. Most Christians don't worship their jewelry. After I left that church, I did later purchase a cross necklace that I sometimes wear. While I love its beauty and that it's a personal, physical reminder of who I am, I certainly don't worship it!

We, Catholics, do not worship our religious statues. It is just a reminder of the people who lived before us and who were followers of God. The Apostles of Christ and the Catholic Church never taught us to worship the religious statues. We look at the statues but that does not mean we are worshipping them. It is like the photo of my dead mother. I have a photo of her in my room. I look at it and sometimes touch it. But that doesn't mean that I worship her photo or image. Our Lord Jesus Christ said: "“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." (Matthew 7:1-5). Also, you mention in toys that we can give children "biblical figurines" (15:26) that is the same as "religious images" so this contradicts your statement about religious images. Also, we do not worship the saints or St. Peter. We do not pray to St. Peter. We remember St. Peter because he worshipped and followed Christ. Christ recognized Peter's importance in salvation when he said: "17Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. 18And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. 19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 17-18). God left his servant Peter to look after His Sheep when He said to Peter: "Take care of my sheep"(John 21:15-19)…So you must not judge Catholics or anyone so you will not be judged by God. You do not know our religion completely and by heart so please do not judge us. Let us respect each other and spread love and not division. God is love! Peace be with you.
@@NanjuFranciscoReports It's important to approach this topic with respect and understanding. While you express that Catholics do not worship religious statues but rather use them as reminders, there are Biblical principles that caution against the use of images in worship. 1. **Biblical Prohibition Against Idolatry**: The Bible explicitly warns against the creation and veneration of images. In **Exodus 20:4-5** (NIV), it states: > "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth below or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God..." This commandment emphasizes that God desires worship without intermediaries or images that might be misconstrued as objects of worship. 2. **Jesus' Teaching on Worship**: Jesus also taught about the nature of true worship in **John 4:24** (NIV): > "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." This verse implies that worship should be directed solely to God, without physical representations. 3. **Understanding Judgment**: While it is true that we should refrain from judging others hypocritically, the Bible also encourages discernment about practices in faith. In **1 John 4:1** (NIV), it advises: > "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God..." This highlights the importance of examining practices against Scripture. 4. **The Role of Saints**: While remembering the saints is commendable, praying to them or asking for their intercession can detract from the belief that Christ is our sole mediator. As mentioned previously in **1 Timothy 2:5** (NIV): > "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." In conclusion, while the intention behind the use of statues and remembering the saints may be rooted in respect and honor, it is essential to align practices with biblical teachings to ensure that worship remains focused on God alone. Let’s continue to foster understanding and love in our discussions about faith.

@@Catherine-1968 I appreciate your perspective on the communion of saints and the idea of asking for their intercession. However, there are some biblical considerations regarding this practice that are worth discussing. 1. **The Role of Christ as Mediator**: While asking friends or relatives to pray for us is common, the Bible emphasizes that Jesus is the sole mediator between God and humanity. **1 Timothy 2:5** (NIV) states: > "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." This indicates that our prayers and requests for intercession should ultimately be directed to Christ. 2. **Direct Access to God**: The New Testament teaches that believers have direct access to God through Jesus. In **Hebrews 4:14-16** (NIV), it says: > "Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence..." This passage encourages believers to approach God directly, highlighting the personal relationship we can have with Him. 3. **The Body of Christ**: While it’s true that we are all part of the Body of Christ, as stated in **1 Corinthians 12:27** (NIV): > "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." This emphasizes our unity in Christ, but it does not imply that we should pray to those who have passed away. Instead, we are called to encourage one another and pray for one another while on earth. 4. **Praying for One Another**: The Bible encourages believers to pray for each other while they are living. In **James 5:16** (NIV), it says: > "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." This highlights the importance of intercessory prayer among the living. In conclusion, while the saints are honored for their faith and contributions, focusing our prayers and intercessions on Christ aligns with biblical teachings. It’s essential to maintain our relationship with God through Jesus, who invites us to approach Him directly. Thank you for the opportunity to discuss this important aspect of our faith!
@ Ahh, so there is the fundamental difference - you believe that we only pray for each other when we are living but the question I pose to you is who do you think is living? We are all one body in Christ - those that live with Jesus in the beatific vision are very effective with their prayer intercessions for us. They don’t just leave the church on earth behind and say “well, we made it! Hope they do too- bye!” No- if we ask them to intercede in prayer for us just like we do with those loved ones on earth this is not taking away from our Lord and Savior as Mediator. Who we know to be the One. No one goes to the Father unless through Him!

These are everywhere, in supermarkets, logos of famous stores, and logos of high-prestige companies, clothes, cars, accessories, food, etc. etc... but especially in the bills when paying and in those credit cards that we use daily, then we must think that the logos or symbols in these are not the problem, the problem is our heart and our understanding, understanding that everything material will remain when we die and the only thing that we will raise to heaven and to the presence of God is our soul and what we did in life, our actions and intentions will be counted.
A good "litmus test": Do I NEED this? If yes, why? If no get rid of it! If you use this "litmus test" it is likely that you will find that your life is FULL of things you don't need.
In my opinion, people that are demonic never allow them in your home or never touch you, that is the wisest thought and when they are habitual liar's,just please stay away from them
I agree it is smart to be wary of anyone you believe will do you harm. Yet, no matter how careful we are, Jesus is still the answer to any plot of the enemy!
@quoracles yes people need to be aware of how much evil 😈 is in our World and yes Jesus Yeshua is in my heart and life the only protection, and I just want children protected 😢
Ive gotten rid of many evil things in my house: Rock CDs (which he should have included, and many CD covers or old vinyl covers depict demonic scenes) Ive burned books, even my late wife's Twilight books, some jewelry, and Ive got a pic of a dream catcher somewhere I need to burn. Praise Jesus for freedom from all idols!
Honey, as long as you aren't using these things for evil, you are fine. A number of people on here are picking and choosing which things they accept are bad, but others they love and won't give up. It's intention. Religions for thousands of years have burned sage to remove negative spirits or energy from spaces. There's absolutely nothing wrong hanging a cross in your home. It's a symbol of respect to your beliefs, to Jesus Christ. Some people get carried away with things. You do what resonates with you. God knows your intentions. ❤
If you're using g ANY of these things for the reasons named in this video, then yes, they are idols, and you should get rid of them BUT of the true and living GOD has not convicted you of having them for no other reason, then that is between you and GOD🙏🏼

Do not fear but have faith that in heart you are belonging to Jesus and do what ever you please, You are higher and more powerful than any Angel or Demon. Sage is good on food and some like to pray as the smoke goes up to Jesus's nostrils so do your prayers. Divination especially if it is for selfish purposes is wrong but still within an experienced Christian's practice.
I'm a Born again Christian. Anything can be twisted into a demonic symbol. The Bible says if you are with someone who believes in Christ , but have different customs you respect those customs. If they feel eating pork is wrong , don't eat pork. For them it is a sin, and it is a sin. This is a silly bunch of foolishness.
I used to have everything on this list in my house because I was in the witchcraft occult. Deddy YHWH told me to burn it and I did. Now I have none of this stuff and I have a sword aka(Bible) everywhere in my house now. Thank you Jesus Christ YAHshua for delivering me from all this evil! I love you❤
None of these things are inherently evil or demonic UNLESS you put your FAITH in them over Christ .. I have dream catchers, my mom collected them and she passed and I kept them and love them because they remind me of her but I don’t put my faith in them..
You can have a ouija board, too, in your house, just so long as you don't believe in it!😅😅😅😅 Get those entrances for demons to walk through out of your home!
Exactly 👍 We need to follow the commandments and the New Testament , when Jesus said the two most important from all the commandments, was the first and the second . But I notice that many Christians churches are debating for to Have the right understanding over the scriptures, when the most important from all is to LOVE God and the others . Blessing on your way 🙏

@juliavandermeer2740 Did you know that in antique stores, sometimes there are furniture, dolls or objects that are not symbols, but are possessed by their previous owners? I saw a story of a lady who bought an antique piece of furniture without suspecting that it was possessed by an entity, when she got it home, the whole atmosphere began to change and she began to see paranormal situations, she was skeptical, but that experience changed her life, when she found out that the antique piece of furniture was the cause of everything, she immediately took it out of her house and everything went back to normal.
God please help us. I have heard the Chinese furniture manufactures drill holes in their furniture and put a curse in them to be sold in America, just saying! I try and buy only American made furniture.
If you are a born again Christian and follow the Lord closely, you need have no fear of any curse coming against you, you are covered by the blood of Jesus who took our curses to the cross. No one can curse what God has blessed, even a witch doctor. This is why it is so important to stay close to Jesus and His protection. He who is in you is far far greater than he who is in the world. Relax! and enjoy your furniture no matter where it was made.

A very interesting list of items indeed. I am more interested in the items NOT mentioned in this list. The items that would make it impossible to click on your videos, thus aiding in your pursuit of money. No mention of Smart Phones, Tablets, Computers and Televisions, those items that are certainly all far more dangerous and tempting than all the items on your list combined. If those items were to be tossed aside, your channel would be put out of business. Smells more like Hypocrisy than sage burning.
This is your interpretation. God says there is good in everyone and everything💕I believe we will see good or evil depending what is truly in our hearts. There are not any evil objects it is the intention that makes it good or evil. 💕❤️🌹❤️
If you really want to keep evil out of your house, toss your television, computer, and other distractive toys out into the trash. If you are so vulnerable that a dreamcatcher can ruin your day, you should get a shrink and get a life.
I am not sure how one can worship statues or images of Christ, the Virgin Mary, the Saints, and the celestial Angels. These are mere representations that help our finite minds focus on the spiritual world. I definitely do not agree about the notion of worshiping these objects, or even falling into such danger.
This is strictly a non-Catholic program - They probably haven't read the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Other Christian denominations have idols in most churches - a cross with a cloth symbol around it, Halloween celebrations, and the list goes on.
Wait catholic churches do this also, like carvings on the wall. Statues of jesus christ in the hall ways, even some in the main part. Wearing any kind of cross is idolatry also, same with tats of crosses and or body mods/scars made to a cross on purpose.

The purpose of saints in the Catholic faith, as I understand it, is for intercessory prayer. Some may be confused and pray to the saints, but the church teaches it is for saints and angels to intercede.
1st Timothy 6:10........."For the LOVE of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Money is not evil, it is a morally neutral tool for trading purposes.
It's the love of money, not money itself, that is the root of all evils. (Don't worry; you're not the first person to make that mistake....I've heard many people say that!)😮😮
@@tehrcanine4175 @countryjoe3551 This is example based and you can look around and see how many things we ALL do by “mistake” I was saying it in respect to Native American Tribe Tradition which I believe started making things like dream catchers to protect their children from nightmares in the 1960’s and 70’s. The Bible was written way before dream catchers existed and way before we locked our doors. So if we are truly believers, why do we even have doors? Do we have no faith that God will protect us? Of course we do, it’s not meant to be disrespectful of the word. It is something we’ve become accustomed to such as using money for trading. I don’t believe objects are inherently bad or good.. I believe the intention of their use is where the controversy may begin. I love God, I’m not questioning the Bible. But I do believe that if someone can for example, raise their flag for their Country, I should be able to wear a Cross on my neck on a chain for what I believe in. So it’s that kind of thing I’m speaking of and not idolatry.
Stopped watching when you said Roman Catholic idols of Jesus and Mary are okay. They're not "okay" sir! They are as demonic and cursed as the statue of any other Pagan diety. What's worse is some of them are demon possessed, which is why every once in a while you will hear of an idol of Mary weeping or a crucifix bleeding etc. You need to go back and read Exodus 20:4,5 and ask God to open it up for you. I am not saying this self righteously, but as an ex-Roman Catholic God saved by His sovereign grace and mercy. I am praying for you 🙏❤️
When we ask for Mary's and the Saints intercessian, to pray to Jesus for us, it's like asking family and friends for their prayers. They are closer to the throne of God and share a more personal connection then we do on Earth. We also pray to God directly and don't worship anyone/ thing but the Trinity, The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Having statues, icons, and crosses, help us to focus our prayers and to remember Jesus's ultimate sacrifice for us.

In **Exodus 20:4-5** (NIV), it states:
> "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth below or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God..."
This commandment emphasizes that God desires worship without intermediaries or images that might be misconstrued as objects of worship.
2. **Jesus' Teaching on Worship**: Jesus also taught about the nature of true worship in **John 4:24** (NIV):
> "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."
This verse implies that worship should be directed solely to God, without physical representations.
3. **Understanding Judgment**: While it is true that we should refrain from judging others hypocritically, the Bible also encourages discernment about practices in faith. In **1 John 4:1** (NIV), it advises:
> "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God..."
This highlights the importance of examining practices against Scripture.
4. **The Role of Saints**: While remembering the saints is commendable, praying to them or asking for their intercession can detract from the belief that Christ is our sole mediator. As mentioned previously in **1 Timothy 2:5** (NIV):
> "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."
In conclusion, while the intention behind the use of statues and remembering the saints may be rooted in respect and honor, it is essential to align practices with biblical teachings to ensure that worship remains focused on God alone. Let’s continue to foster understanding and love in our discussions about faith.

Before we had doctors, there were only the wise men and wise women,Witch doctors and shamans who knew the herbs to heal and the words to say to comfort the mind and soul. Do you think that people were not glad to have them when they got sick! Look up the history. Witch comes from old English wic meaning wise. Not evil devil worshiper. Witches are not Satanists. They don't even believe in a devil as they take responsibility for their own actions. Christians blame everything on the devil so as to not be blamed for what they do. Wiccans are healers and helpers. No one seems to be worshipping Satan except Christians who constantly talk about him sometimes more than they talk about God.

God told us exactly how to worship him. It's in the Bible. Don't add to it. Don't take away from it. Don't mix the pristine worship of God with the traditions of the heathen. If it is not specifically described in the Bible, IT IS FORBIDDEN! Dreamcatchers are not part of the worship of the God of the Bible. Nowhere is it found in the Bible to make "dreamcatchers". They are forbidden. Man does not have any "right" to worship God the way man pleases. And God detests to be worshiped according to the traditions of the heathens. God is no heathen. What is so hard to understand? If you love the God of the Bible, then do only what God said to do in the Bible. If you wish to provoke God, then worship Him according to the ways of the heathen and you will feel His wrath. That's what the Jews did. Look what happened to them. Look what the Catholics do. See what is happening to them. If you wish to have peace with God, then DON'T provoke Him by reducing Him to a pagan deity with pagan idols.
This is surprisingly accurate...except the Bible says to pray to God, through Jesus

You are Anti Catholic but we agree with most all of these. The great Saints are our friends. We ask them to pray for us as we would a friend, relative or Church member here on earth. That is the difference- we believe we the Church Militant are not forgotten by the Church Suffering or the Church Triumphant. We pray for one another until we are all in Heaven with our Lord and Savior 2nd Person in the Holy Trinity!! We are all one body in Christ Jesus! Amen!
**1 Timothy 2:5** (NIV) states:
> "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."
This indicates that our prayers and requests for intercession should ultimately be directed to Christ.
2. **Direct Access to God**: The New Testament teaches that believers have direct access to God through Jesus. In **Hebrews 4:14-16** (NIV), it says:
> "Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence..."
This passage encourages believers to approach God directly, highlighting the personal relationship we can have with Him.
3. **The Body of Christ**: While it’s true that we are all part of the Body of Christ, as stated in **1 Corinthians 12:27** (NIV):
> "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
This emphasizes our unity in Christ, but it does not imply that we should pray to those who have passed away. Instead, we are called to encourage one another and pray for one another while on earth.
4. **Praying for One Another**: The Bible encourages believers to pray for each other while they are living. In **James 5:16** (NIV), it says:
> "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
This highlights the importance of intercessory prayer among the living.
@@Catherine-1968 I appreciate your perspective on the communion of saints and the belief that those who have passed can intercede for us. This is a significant aspect of Catholic teaching. However, there are some biblical principles to consider regarding prayer and intercession.
1. **The Body of Christ**: While it is true that we are all part of the Body of Christ, as stated in **1 Corinthians 12:27** (NIV):
> "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
This emphasizes our unity in faith, but the Bible also highlights that our prayers should ultimately be directed to God through Jesus.
2. **Christ as Our Sole Mediator**: The New Testament clearly teaches that Jesus is the only mediator between humanity and God. **1 Timothy 2:5** (NIV) states:
> "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."
This verse reinforces the importance of approaching God directly through Christ, who is our sole intercessor.
3. **Prayer Among the Living**: The Bible encourages believers to pray for one another while we are still living. In **James 5:16** (NIV), it says:
> "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
This emphasizes the importance of intercessory prayer among those who are alive.
4. **Communion with God**: While the idea of asking for intercession from saints may be comforting, it’s essential to remember that our relationship with God is personal and direct. **Hebrews 4:16** (NIV) invites us:
> "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence..."
This invitation underscores that we can come directly to God in prayer.
In conclusion, while your belief in the intercession of saints reflects a deep faith, the Bible encourages us to focus our prayers and intercessions on God through Jesus Christ alone. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I appreciate the opportunity to engage in this dialogue about our faith.

Your soul lives on whether in purgatory, heaven or hell. Jesus is love, Jesus is family. It’s not just Jesus and I but Jesus and us. This man’s understanding has no depth.

Wow. I absolutely love organisations that tell other people how to live and how to believe. I love them more if they condemn random things as evil. And I adore them if they make money out of their bigotry by selling merchandise (rather unholy cups with crosses on it), take in donations and present themselves as non-profit. Well played.
Listen, I’m orthodox, I have crosses as jewelry and walls Jesus crist
I'm not fan of ones with Jesus on them, I wonder if speaker meant those?
Thank you for your video.

Thank you, beloved. It is to the glory of Jesus Christ!
Thank you very much for taking time to highlight the evilness of these items. I remember,
2 Kings 18:4 KJV
He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
Sage is an herb, and God gave us all seed-bearing herb for our use. Genesis 1:29
The purpose of saints in the Catholic faith, as I understand it, is for intercessory prayer. Some may be confused and pray to the saints, but the church teaches it is for saints and angels to intercede.
You are totally wrong. Jesus is the only mediator and the only way to the Father. 😊
The Catholic church doesn't follow the Bible and encourages prayers and novenas to saints and Mary.
I think is more important what you have in your soul,in your heart and in your mind, not in your house or your garden...
I guess we shouldn’t have MONEY in our homes because it is “the root to all evil”
1st Timothy 6:10........."For the LOVE of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
Money is not evil, it is a morally neutral tool for trading purposes.

Thankyou for putting Timothy up.
God bless you all
Items can't control a good heart who works on their relationship with Jesus.

Amen 🙏
I concur with you.
Thanks
