  • The United Nation has warned that at current levels, the earth could be awash with over 12 billion tons of plastic trash by the middle of the century. According to the world body, up to 5 trillion grocery bags are used each year, and like most plastic garbage, barely any is recycled. One Kenyan entrepreneur, keen on going green, is turning plastic waste into value. Our reporter Daniel Arapmoi brings us more.

A wide variety of things can be done to reduce plastic wastage.
Plastic manufacturers will continue to supply plastic while the demand for it remains.
Every time we buy food that is wrapped in plastic packaging, (fruit and vegetables for example) we contribute to the demand for that particular type of plastic. We can reduce the demand if we choose to buy loose fruit and vegetables.
Independent fruit and veg stores don't use a large amount of plastic. Most of all their fruit and vegetables are sold loose.
Another thing we can do to reduce demand on plastic is to buy milk in glass bottles. I buy milk in glass bottles from a local milk delivery company. The price is higher but it's very convenient to have milk and other groceries delivered to your door.

One of the best and excellent standards in construction supply, infrastructure is by using this types of graded materials designed and perfected for quality/quantity that can withstand earthquakes, exposure to too much water/flood, that can reconcile/realize the measures as well as the grades of quality based on technical and administrative support for construction standards and measures. 2022 onwards.

I'm huge into plastic and would love to run with something like this in Australia but the government want's nothing to do with it. I would think the plastic roof tiles and seating would be amazing and something that should be consider in every country. I see so many people turning waste plastic into fossil fuel and re-using the oils in machinery. Why has this not been researched more and shown to the world? Great video.

burning plastic releases hydrochloric acid, sulfur dioxide, dioxins, furans , heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and particulate matter. Kudos for the development, but anyone processing these plastics need to wear protective respirators or face long-term respiratory and other health problems. While plastic are problematic, when in left as plastics, their carbon is trapped. Melting releases the carbon back into the atmosphere.

When plastic is burned, it releases dangerous chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, sulfur dioxide, dioxins, furans and heavy metals, as well as particulates. These emissions are known to cause respiratory ailments and stress human immune systems, and they're potentially carcinogenic.

to CGTN tv and interviewees ...Please encourage people who are interviewed on TV and especially people who could use Monetary DONATIONS to have a Special VEST made that list contact information for that individual or company. The Vest should have an Email address or phone number of company name near the NECK area of the person being interviewed so it will be clearly seen by the CAMERA. Persons who want to DONATE will NOW know how to contact. You see so much need around the world but there is no way to DONATE directly because No one knows how to contact this individual or company. A simple listed Email address or Phone number that can be picked up by the camera is VERY SMART and easy to do. Call it the INTERVIEW VEST ...Maybe have a couple VEST on hand where the persons contact information can be printed on paper inserts and slipped into pockets before an interview....even have the vest sponsored and sell advertisement space....You never know who is watching and wants to help..
