- Can we survive the Terraria apocalypse? Terraria isn't exactly the easiest game in the world...so what if we made it harder by having an apocalypse? This ultimate Terraria survival game will challenge our ability to speed run the game but this time I'm doing it with my viewers. Will our sheer numbers be enough to conquer the game in time? Lets find out!

There was never a time in vanilla Terraria where you could teleport out of the WoF fight without dying, that's been a feature of the fight since it was first introduced in 1.1

To answer your question, thr Old Man isn't as frail as he seems, and will persist as long as there is a single block in the Dungeon Entrance area for him to respawn on, as well as enough space.
But also: you obtained 2 Magma Stones, (2 instances of a 0.67% drop), and a Red Plumber's Hat, (Instance of a 0.4% drop from an uncommon enemy). This means that you had a mere 0.18% (0.17956% rounded) of this occurring.

(more sizes that get bigger every boss, scaling meteor amounts, more time before the meteors start falling, esc)
There are a number of customizable settings including everything you mentioned except sizes that get bigger every boss
@@Throarbin I would get it but I play on mobile which I’m pretty sure would make it basically impossible to get and I’ve only done one complete play through and I’m not ready

Your mining speed feels slower because the calamity mod makes it 2x faster
Well, at the time of recording, I wasn't really playing Calamity. idk, it just felt weird

To answer your question, technically Skeletron as well as all of the prehardmode bosses not named wall of flesh are optional bosses and the only one's required to fight to beat the game would be wall of flesh, the mechs, plantera, golem, cultist, and moon lord
Nope skeletron is necessary. Old man takes priority over cultists.
@@HyperDash47 he should have been abandoned when the goal shifted to WoF though. I was confused as to why they were worried about getting into the dungeon.

crazy idea: the apocalypse but instead of lava it’s Shimmer that can dissolve blocks. It’ll probably just be more tedious than deadly, but I think it’s be interesting.

When people say "apocalypse" they often forget that its not just the doomsday event, but a human instinct for anarchy and embracing the chaos...For sake of content!
Imagine if someone went straight for a Bast Statue and started transmuting doors into useful items. That could've lead to some insane gameplay with this challenge.
(If you've never heard of this, just look up the Transmutation Glitch)

The full jungle armor plus wings is full on sweat mode 😭🙏
seems like having a row of chests with a single block of dirt in each would make a base roof that could withstand the meteor rain
previous video. Even if there is something inside a chest. The lava breaks the chest regardless of it.
The creator of the mod is devious.
As why that other run abruptly ended is because ALL their loot got burned in lava by this reason.

Here's an idea for a world challenge.
Prerequisites:
* First: It must be on a Large World Size.
* Second: Difficulty doesn't really matter.
* Time is not an issue! There is no time limit.
Main Goal:
* Mine every piece of sand within the world and store them in chests.
Failures:
* No sand can ever fall into lava.
* You can not use sand in crafting not even to make glass.
I would call it: The Sands of Time.
Just wait until you get me to participate, just wait..

I think the video was uploaded long before now I.E. 2 months ago, only made available for channel members before us. A kind of early access perk I guess

Not to burst your bubble, but they did say they were running low on obsidian, and had no Waterleafs to make either of the potions in the first place.
As for the bricks, the lava could dissolve the blocks around them to bypass it.

Maybe this is possible on normal mode with a group of of 10 or so organized and professional terraria players
Expert mode with even a few solid players would crush this. Maybe fail once or twice to learn what they had to adjust.

I’m curious about the state of these community-based games once 1.4.5 comes out with Crossplay. It would bring more new people, sure, but some of the mods used (if any) wouldn’t work, and could cause bugs. Maybe people will develop systems to find a way to ‘port’ mods over, but even then there are flaws. Would you rather it be vanilla Terraria, but with exponentially more new people, or modded Terraria, with roughly the same amount of people as before? There are many factors, and I know that the Terraria community and modding scene can be smart, but, again, the mods may not be able to travel over to, say, Mobile Terraria, as it lacks Python and Javascript coding (or maybe I’m dumb and terraria doesn’t use EITHER of these, which is a stretch).

Some people are so quick to call a game dead when the peak of it's hype has passed. It still has an active community and numerous creators. It is ranked number 19 in steam for the amount of daily players at about 40000. Even the developers are still active. Besides, in my opinion only multiplayer games that require other players in order to play are capable of 'dying'
This just makes me hate people and community events lol.
