If you are dying your barbies hair, use dyes like rit or something used for tie dyes. It will work better on artificial fibres. After you let it sit in the dye for a day or two (upside down), soak the barbies hair in a mix of vinegar and water to keep the dye from coming out and staining things. Then rince with soapy water.
