If you, hypothetically, make the sun have the same exact properties of Earth (i.e radius, mass, density, core composition, atmosphere, magnetospheres, etc.) it still won’t be livable and here is why The atmosphere and the magnetosphere will decimate overtime. You can make the sun a habitable planet, but it won’t be permanent. Reason being, and I don’t know if this is the reason in real life, the sun is used to being a star. You can make it a Jovian planet by making it have similar properties like Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and any other exoplanetary Jovians, it just won’t turn into a habitable terrestrial. It’s actually the same for Jovians; you can’t make jovian planets a habitable planet for they will, instead, freeze up and their magnetosphere will decimate and you need that to make life (if I recall correctly, I don’t think the atmosphere will disappear too? It might, as well). Reason being, stars and jovians are used to being made up of gas, they’re not used to being a terrestrial. Because of that, their stability will suffer and they won’t be habitable whatsoever. Can you make them a terrestrial planet? Certainly. You have the properties, you have the core compositions, they just won’t be habitable like any other terrestrials. Is everything I said here factual? Maybe not, this is based off of what I know. I might have missed some things, if I did let me know, but this is my hypothesis if he, hypothetically, were to make the sun a livable planet like our beautiful blue planet. It would not be possible.
