We have used Luroy on our queen bed for over 10 years. 6 of them was with a heavy PURPLE mattress. It is as good and strong as the day we bought it. We just gave the whole bed to my daughter & son-in-law. They love it. We are now getting a king bed and will still use Luroy.
I had someone working at ikea telling me they get so many return for Luroy cause it doesn’t hold for long time! He said Lonset is a pain to assemble but it’s worth it!
This video is so informative! Thank you 🙏🏻 I was going to get Lonset but I don’t think the price difference + assembly effort is worth it. So Luroy it is!
@@reTache4955 hey! didnt think anyone would check back in haha. im using Luroy and having no issues! i would say for a single bed you wouldnt need too much extra support :3
Please please please can someone tell me has Ikea changed the type of screws that are used with Luroy?? I see in all bed manuals they now are a black clip head with a different scew and before it used to be a white cylindrical clip head with scews..is this correct? Im just wondering will the new clips fit on older ikea bed frames?
Hello I have the Lonset but we are confused because the slats sit on top of the bed frame and aren’t fixed to anything therefore they move. Is this normal? Many thanks 😊
Also, this was unfortunately not a helpful video for us. Our basic research told us this already. We were hoping for a deeper analysis or comparison, or input from someone who has used both.

I'd prefer a more robust and durable solution for a small increase in price, you just assembly one time, you're not taking down the bed every day!
The Lonset weave design is much more durable and will hold more weight. It's worth the extra cost.

Does the Luroy have no cardboard because you colected it from the shop? Does it have cardboard if it gets delivered by Ikea?
I got it from the shop, so there's no cardboard.
If you ordered online, usually they send it using a cardboard/similar cover to warp it.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING Great thank you very much!
I think im getting the lonset
Lonset (extra price and time in assembly) is worth it in the long term
How much weight can kingsize luroy hold

Danke
Luröy is very noisy, every time I move it wakes me up
The amount of been fallen from LUROY 🤣 definitely LONSET, takes around 25min to set it up
Luroy not recommended.. easily to flex after 3 years 😢
Ours has lasted over 10 years, with heavy mattresses. It’s as good now as it was when we bought it.
