I’ve literally been chopping loop packs in audacity manually… spending SO MUCH TIME that I can now spend doing ANYTHING else but chopping loops. You’ve earned a subscribe and a thumbs up from me my friend!!!

I have a problem, how do I make it so when I play another part of the sample it stops what was playing before instead of overlapping

Theres a gate option you have to select on the quick sampler

Can the sampler chop samples as well or it's just the quick sampler

  • @HupertBupkin

This is kinda hard to explain but how do you make it so the sound you play for a certain key restarts when you hit the key again rather than overlapping and creating a sort of echo. I just wanna go ham on one note and not have it overlap with the previous times I hit it, making a loud and unintended cluster of the same noise

If you turn on the "gate" option in the quick sampler when you're in slice mode .. the note will only play as long as you hold it down.. Also the same thing will happen if you drag and drop the sample in the quick sampler in classic mode....

You like the sampler in Logic? It seems like it's pretty good from what you've shown here. How do you like laying samples down in the regular track area>? That's what I usually do but It looks Easier this way in Logic tbh,

Idk if this will be super understandable and I’m not sure it was explained in the vid how I’m thinking of it, but if I have an audio and I want it to play all the way through the audio but sort of mute when I let go of the key?

In classic mode .. make sure 'no loop' is selected after dragging your sample in. And in slice mode make sure 'gate' is selected.
