Best thing about going on holiday is taking a break from everything. If you really need to play guitar, you can always visit the local music shop or the local open mic for a session near your hotel.
You could always put some threaded inserts in the neck of a normal bolt on guitar and then unbolt the neck to make it half the size when you're travelling.
Hola. Me puedes dar las medidas por favor? 🙏 Necesito el ancho, largo y espesor del cuerpo. El largo del mástil y el largo total de la guitarra. Gracias
Most of these travel guitars have quirky non conventional layouts, this Carry On ST seems nicely eye (and ear) pleasing. But playing a 20.7" scale would be an exercise in frustration for me. While competitors can have full 24.75 and 25.5 scales. Glad to see another Zoey's donation!
There havebeen a few different Backstar models of guitar in Montreal's FB pages. 335 semi-hollows, strats and teles all going for about $300 CAD, so I wonder about the quality level and overall QC.
You will tackle anything and regardless it-sounds fine. You would just take the neck off a standard guitar, four screws and some gaffer tape, and reassemble on arrival.🙃
Yeh I thought it was 💩as well, but maybe useful as Baywatch floatation device on holiday, can picture you running on the sand towards Pam with it. 🤣 Hopefully will sell a few raffle tickets though 💲

I often ship bolt on guitars with the neck detached. Seems like an obvious solution for travelling the more I think about it 👍

John, I think you should have played that guitar standing up, it would have looked like a ukulele. 😇

The Hofner Shorty has a proper 24.75" scale, and yet an overall length of just 32.5". Fits in a suitcase
I have one of those, and use it for holidays. It doesn't stay in tune too well now, so tempted to use a full size budget guitar instead.
Do you need a travel guitar to go to Morrisons John ? 😅
That IS about as far as I venture 🤣👍🍺

I felt like a kid riding his baby sister's bike playing that guitar 🤣👍
Yeah, nah. Full size neck, tiny body works much better for me....
Carry On Strumming - don’t remember seeing that one 🙄
Funny little thing. Don't quite get it. But variety is the spice of life and all that.
