your videos have been very informative on this topic and especially in astrology. i have given a lot of attention to the throat for myself in general before learning about human design recently, having this projector type and 1/3 profile also, and i'm continually having to practice speaking up whenever appropriate or when i would get resentful if i didn't.
since we share this type and profile, i feel i would be perhaps doing both of us a disservice to not tell you this feedback, mainly that i wish you would speak with shorter and less pauses, and that you breath through your nose.
for one, the breaths are sharp and the mic picks them up in a way that almost hurts my body on the output. it's not just the way it registers throughout your videos, but it's the added time it takes and the uncertainty it communicates is what make me notice these patterns and frustrates me. i know you are good at what you do and you know a lot about these topics. i've watched several of your videos, some over and over (8th house especially).
if i were new here and to this topic, i would probably come to a different conclusion, though, and would never click again because i would doubt you due to my sense that you might be doubting yourself.
i watch for this in others: constant pauses, shiftiness, looking uncomfortable in any way, umms/ahhhs/like/you know/right?/ok?(i'm guilty of saying "like"), sucking one's teeth during a pause--these are the main things i notice that will drive me up a wall and to click off a video so quickly. i know they all have a sale in mind. i worked in marketing and had sales roles too so it's not the sale that is my issue--it's the way they seem shifty around it, possibly even slimy.
i rely on being straightforward in my current day to day life and side hustles by being clear and speaking as clearly as i can, otherwise i risk looking like a scammer, which works against me because i know i have integrity and that i work hard to maintain it--it's just that i need money and that would be my only reason for getting tripped up and speaking in an awkward way😅
some of the people i've noticed in those videos or in sales environments who hem and haw (umms, ahhs, like, you know, etc.) ARE selling hot air. some of them simply aren't confident in their services. some of them are incompetent. some of them ARE scamming. i get all these queues when i watch videos that have those communication hiccups and snags. i don't think you are selling hot air or have any of those intentions, but i don't get the full confidence either from the pauses and body language that demonstrate discomfort.
i'm trying to say this in the most tactful way as feedback so you know. i hope you accept it with grace, mainly because i know you have reason to be confident and you're knowledgeable.
Guys being a projector is a super power. To everyone saying its tough and we gotta wait I get that its hard and can be isolating but thats part of our journey. We are living in a manifestor and generator world. We are talented and have gifts that are valuable and beautiful. I often struggle with tryna force my way into things which can cause friction(learning not too haha) but we literally have the power to live our lives and do what we love and learn things and the universe will bring that energy back to us. Be you and do you and let the universe take care of the rest.
How are you learning not to force things I’m struggling mightily a lot of the things I do for work is around securing grants and scholarships which means a lot waiting. For me, I get antsy then start send emails checking up like every couple days waiting makes me anxious any tips would be great.
@@Arielpree3555 Sometimes you just have to be willing to get uncomfortable and discipline the waiting. Unfortunately there are not quick fixes or tricks for this other than to commit to experimenting with it. It gets easier when you see it starting to work.
@@Arielpree3555 I think there's a difference between trying to recruit clients for your own business compared to what you're doing. Those establishments you're contacting are there for you, to help you.

I hate being a projector. I just discovered that this is my type - and it makes so much sense. I am very talented and ambitious, but I feel like NO MATTER how hard I work, I am always ALMOST meeting my goal. It's been like the story of my life - ALMOST getting the gig, but losing the opportunity last minute. And the WAITING for other people to recognize is exhausting. I'm hoping learning more about my type will offer me some sort of tools, but finding out I'm a projector and the characteristics of them, are super discouraging and frustrating. I feel like I will be stuck in the waiting place FOREVER. :(
Jordyn, I feel your pain. I was crushed when I learned I was a projector and felt so slighted hahaaa I am learning to cope with it and trying to understand how to harvest my gifts with these BS energetics... I hope you find your special groove too!
@userofyoutube interestingly, there are differing types within the Projector description. There is the Classical Projector, which doesn't have any defined motors (for a Projector, the motors we can have defined are the Solar Plexus, Will and Root). Thus an energy Projector can have all the above mentioned motors defined, except the Sacral.
Then there is the Mental Projector, with no inner authority (being they can only have two or more of these centers defined- the Crown, Ajna, and Throat). Hope that helps to understand the differences within Projector types.

@@zhupepexD , I would assume if 50% of the human population is Emotionally Defined, meaning they have a defined Solar Plexus Motor, then probably half of Projectors may have it that way too (?), and thus be an Energy Projector. Projectors can have up to 3 motors defined (Solar Plexus, Will and Root Centers), all except the Sacral Motor (which would make anyone Sacral defined as a Generator). So any Projector with a motor defined besides the Sacral would be an energy projector.
I happen to be an Energy Projector, being my Solar Plexus is defined.
The Classic Projector is a non energy type, being they have definition, but no Motors defined. But they can have inner authority based upon their design.
The Mental Projector can have two, or up to 3 of the following centers defined: The Head, Ajna, and Throat. Just keep note that while they can have all three of those centers defined, they can just have two of them, and that qualifies as a Mental Projector. The Mental Projector also has no inner authority, being they don't have any defined Motors, nor any other centers defined except the above mentioned.

@@Masumink thank you! Yes I was researching and apparently I am a mental projector because I have the head and ajna colored but not the throat :( idk if that's bad? I see my graph and it seems so sad hahaha like just the head is colored haha :( is this like the worst type of projector? Hahaha
When I was manifesting contracts of 12k, 15k and being able to receive these in 24-48 hours, I was tuning into releasing the negative energy of what we projectors are most blocked around. I did not know I was intuitively doing this because I just found HD in my life. Now it's time to go back what worked in the past.
What do you mean when you say the energy we are most blocked around?
Do you mean we as in all projectors or we as in myself?

The worst thing anyone can do is go against your nature. I remember being in “manifesting” groups on Facebook and there was so much aggression and discontent in there. As an MG, the last thing I would ever wish on anyone is to go against their true nature- WHATEVER it may be❤
I’m a projector with an open head, anja, throat, identity and sacral and solar plex.. I feel that sometimes it’s not always about invitations from people but also the invitations from energy.. and trusting the self and not being stuck in the head.. It’s really important to teach about this cause projectors usually feel undervalued when trying to understand this complex system. To me that is real manifestation anyways. It would be cool if you could talk more about the undefined projector traits in my depth. But other than that you have a really sweet nature and thanks for your information ❤️

This new year I want to finally get started on some projects that I’ve been contemplating on for a while and for a while I didn’t want to start simply because I didn’t want to have to promote myself. You always see that whole “shameless promotion” people use and while I think it’s great it’s not something I can see myself do. I like the whole idea of waiting for the invitation because I can instead create and do what I have planned and the right people will come to me. No need to convince, try to promote, doing annoying spammy stuff.
You can be visible and allow yourself to be seen without shamelessly promoting yourself 😉

The MAIN point of this is to understand you have to build a platform for yourself and give UNLIMITED VALUE on it.
Yes. Create a way to monetize your intellectual assets and learn how to set up online FUNNELS so you can lead people to your ebooks, courses, Patreon, etc.
But first, you have to be completely self-sacrificing. Give give give. Teach teach teach. Break down concepts and make them easy to understand. Build your brand off of VALUE.. then lead the people to your higher, paid tiers.
You don’t have to “wait” forever to be successful or to be recognized. But you DO have to be patient and work hard.

It’s sounds like the majority of society project onto the projector and assume things about them that aren’t true. And that you almost have to manipulate people into wanting to listen to you 😩 Would you say this type is the most misunderstood type?

It's very interesting what you mentioned about channel 1/8, and the soul connection, I have gate 1 on my unconscious mars and sometimes when I used to invite other djs into my podcast, I could feel that I was speaking through my soul about their music and we just clicked and these people somehow wanted me to keep writing to them, but I really don't have the energy to speak lol

I don't know. I'm also a projector and I made different experiences to what you say. I would say when your communication skills are advanced and you know how to communicate well and have patience, you can nevertheless be heard also when one isn't inviting you directly. It depends a lot on each individual and own interests of interacting with people. In many ways it doesn't just matter what other people think of you. I do think a lot of those definitions of the human design aren't really practical not matching with the world and especially not in these days. When you meet especially those who went already through a spiritual awakening people who aren't might act strangely although I do think people always act a certain way. You can even gain from those who say you are weird because you yourself learn from those experiences. I do think empaths in general handle things ways differently and they are also ask to follow their own call instead of following an idea of one person who defined this whole tool. We are all embody knowledge and wisdom. Everyone has something to say and not everyone will listen to this but not because they aren't invited or have a particular channel undefined. It has also to do something of your already made experiences or of your own point of views and values. You can also been heard on a deeper level without even having a direct conversation. This human design sounds for me already outdated and is the same unadvanced as all those other tools. It mainly repeat old astrological knowledge in a different way. We are evolving also without being informed of it. The guidance is within each person.

Throughout the information, it made me feel as if the projector has to be extra self-conscious around people, and walk on egg-shells because he/she will constantly receive other people's projections. and that kind of hyperalertness is not healthy, isnt it?It is like openly shared opinions, thoughts, advice are immediately judged or frowned upon, and distorted. And only well-received when solicited for. Thoughts, Help? Thinking deeper about this paradigm of "waiting to be invited" vs "becoming the invitation".

I’m a self projecting projector with channels 7-31, 1-8 & 13-33 connected. I’m new to Human Design and I feel seen lol. I usually talk my shit lol and people tend to listen. I’ve been called bossy and pushy with my believes. I also like to listen to people and their stories cuz I learn from them.
I feel like if i'm always waiting for people to ask me things I will just be stood around doing nothing. Why would people ask me if I've never talked about anything like that because I wasn't invited? Sorry, just trying to understand. Like for an example, starting an Instagram for my art, or starting a youtube channel. No one has ever asked me to do this. I just did it. Now, at least on my Instagram where I have been posting regular art for about a year, I now have people asking me to do different things for them. But if I had waited for someone to ask how would I ever start?

when you are talking about the channels, for example, channel 11-56 does this channel need to be connected for what you're saying to be applied? I am just curious if you are strictly referring to people having both channels connected or are you saying that if you have let's say the 11 channel defined then it also applies to you.

Hi Tan, I appreciate your work showing an outside perception of projectors to the world, however I see a pattern of pessimism from other users commenting, I think it's definitely a common denominator that a lot of us have felt, experienced and lived through.
Was wondering if there could be an effort to focus on strategies to manage interactions as a projector, because i also see a trend of information that could easily translate as a new limiting belief system and render a bunch of people helpless, when in fact, our energy should probably be redirected in some capacity. I get it, at times our input might not be valued, don't force it, but yeah,,, what next? I feel internet communicators are failing at communicating actual strategies, because at this point, we get it, we need to shut up, That's certainly how I've lived all my life and it's exhausting.

I'm a projector and I have a quiet voice, stutter and am just not a great speaker overall lol. But I don't understand the whole being invited thing? Is it like literally being invited to do something?
Am a projector too- it means doing your thing and constantly showing till someone recognizes your brilliance and asks you to join them in their work/project/business as opposed to you going after opportunities. It’s more like the energy of magnetism- magnetizing/seducing what you want towards you rather than you rushing forth and grabbing it
Hello beautiful soul, I'm a little confused and I need some guidance, I'm a emo projector 3/5, I'm a deejay, I have a podcast where I invite other djs to share their music, but I don't have the throat center defined... neither a channel to this center.. I want to launch my own music label next year but I'd need to invite music producers to my label but I'm so confused, because on you video you mentioned that we don't have this energy, so i don't know what to do, this label is literally my dream... Should I wait for a manifestor to come into my life (soulmate) so i can get the help? lol hope you can shine your light on this. This mercury retrograde on my 7th house of capricorn is making me think and rethink about this.

I don’t have an authority though it. Says i have to use ppl as a sounding board. 😞 mine is so weird idk how i feel about my chart
Yup, same here. Basically, for you to know what's right, you have to have a sounding board, like hear yourself. So, a few super trusted peeps that will listen to you or a journal you keep or audio of yourself talking it over etc. Also, make sure you are doing you and not picking up on other people's choices, decisions etc that belong to them, not you. So, definitely hear yourself talk to know what's right for you. The answer is there. 🤙
I have all of the centers shown in this video connected to the throat through 13/33, 16/48 and 17/62, and all 4 centers are defined. (Splenic Projector 1/4)
QUESTION: Since we projectors need help from a team to support us then can we initiate that part? Asking for help? And can we ask for help with exposure of our work if anyone wants to help us grow professionally?
I think we have to ask ourselves what 'initiate' actually means? To initiate means there has to be someone on the receiving end, which means we have a flow of yang/yin energy. If you have a community or team with you, there's synergy there and I see it as more of consistent collaboration and flow of exchange rather than initiation. With regards to asking for help, anyone should be able to ask for help when needed! Love and support 💜💜
Yes you can absolutely ask for help! We don’t want to initiate by way of imparting ourselves on another and we’re not the type to be going out and cold DMing people to try to get them to work with us, but seeking help for ourselves is different. We are here for the other, you can put yourself out there for exposure, so people know you’re there, then let them come to you.
Just found out I am a projector but it says I don't have "inner authority" what does that mean? It sounds bad : ( haha
I recently found out i'm a projector type but i'm super confused because I feel like i've always been good at manifesting what I want and I'm a singer and actor and very ambitious and driven and like to go out and make sh*t happen and I do. So i'm really confused by my type because I don't feel I relate to this type. I'm aware perhaps i'm in some type of denial lol but wonder if anyone else has had this. Thank you for your video! I have a quick question. If your not able to manifest as a projector, doesn’t it put you in desperation mode when you are waiting for opportunities to come to you ? Even if you are being consistent in the area you’re trying to study? Does it mean no action required to move forward after you gain knowledge of what you need to learn? I guess I’m still trying to understand what come with being a projector.
Any of the types can find themselves in “desperation mode.” I also know plenty of people who have no idea about HD and still live in desperation mode trying to “manifest” the life they think they want for themselves. Generators and reflectors have to wait as well, manifestors are the only type who can initiate.
Being a projector doesn’t mean you can’t do anything, you’re just not initiating with others. When you’re correct (through living strategy and authority) people and opportunities will find their way to you. It’s really quite powerful. Most projectors have a hard time trusting this though and end up living from the mind rather than S+A which essentially repels the other from you. The simplest way I’ve found to start experimenting with this is to be in a space around other people (this could be family, friends, strangers) and instead of imitating conversations with them, let them come to you. This is how life is supposed to work for us, it just comes to us when we operate correctly.
We do have to put ourselves out there though. You can’t just sit at home all day and expect people to come to you, to some extent you have to make yourself available for them to come to you, you’re just not doing the imitating beyond that point. Hope this all makes sense.
It will come out an expert, a guide for generators and a recognized human being able to feel success. You are here to guide the energy, not to be the worker. The future depends on projectors abilities, as mutation comes.

You will for sure be invited, so that's a definite not a maybe. It's not a forever wait (but do feel like lol). Yet, when you are certain it will come, the wait is easier. And, the invitations you are waiting for are for big things, i.e. vip relationships, job/career, moves, homes, lifestyle changes etc. 😉
