You are truly the Ninja Foodie Goddess. Such a clear, simple and wonderfully detailed set of cooking instructions. Your cooking tutorials are the best !
I am brand new to air fryer cooking & You have become my 'Go To' for the answers. These were AWESOME !!! I replaced your hot sauce with some Leah & Perrins because I am allergic to peppers. Also, in my hunt for a more Chinese food flavor, I might have tried a soy sauce. I have yet to view many of Your videos, but I hope one day to find one where You might take a stab at the batter for Chinese chicken fingers, or any other Oriental delights You might find worthy. Meanwhile, I'll be making Your fried Mushrooms next. After that, Calzones, Yum ! Can hardly wait. Really appreciate Your taking then time to share. You have Not only re-kindled the 'Joy of Cooking' for me, but also the 'Joy of Eating' ! Thanx, Lady 😇
Thank you so much, that means so much to me! On my website you can easily search for recipes like egg rolls, hot and sour soup, Crab Rangoon, General Tso’s air fried cauliflower, and more. The videos are in the recipe card at the bottom as well as the printable recipe. thesaltedpepper.com
tried them tonite for supper the chicken came out perfect, I think it's the wet dip that makes the difference before the breadcrumbs, chicken coating was not over cooked and the meat was tender and juicy, thanks Louise
I really want to thank you for the video I'm soon most likely gonna get an air fryer for my birthday for the very first time. And every time I look up how to make fried chicken it is all with ingredients that is not something I need to stick around and sometimes I don't even know the name of them so I'm glad that I can get to know what is the Bare minimum and then I can work up from there.
You are going to love having an airfryer! Can't wait to hear what you think of this recipe. I have tons of great air fryer recipes on my website if you want to check it out: thesaltedpepper.com
I find adding the flour to the water , then incorporating the egg and spices, works beautifully. Totally enjoy your simple, just go with the flow approach to cooking
This is the first recipe I've found that combines flour with the egg for the wet batter. I think this may be the key to the batter adhering to the chicken. I look forward to trying this.
@@TheSaltedPepper Happy to report my first attempt was a huge success! I still need to tweak a few things, but overall I'm rarely this happy the first time I make a new recipe. THIS is why I bought an air fryer! My husband loves Buffalo chicken tenders/strips and take out is outrageou$$. Frozen store bought are good, but I'd much rather make them myself, but every other method I've tried has flopped. I plan to make a double batch next time, so I can freeze one. Thank you so much!!
Made an eye of blade roast 2 night ago for 30 minutes on pressure and 2 cups liquid including 1/2 cup red wine and the rest beef broth and it came out perfect. I thickened with flour in cold water once I got liquid back to boiling. My guess Chef was even impressed. So there you go… thank you for all you’ve tested for us. I made a side of steamed veggies (cauliflower and Brussel sprouts) besides the ones already in there (carrots potatoes celery and onions)
Asked Google for help making chicken strips - found your video. Have to say, this was a no-look alley-oop slam dunk. Literally the first online recipe that I nailed. Turned out perfect. Credit to your excellent walk-through. Thank you so much 😎 PS I ad libbed & added a little honey to the batter & flax seeds to the breadcrumb mix 👌🏼

Hi LULU, Tried you chicken fingers they were delicious! I happened to notice there was a guy on the side column where he did a taste test and which recipe had the better crunch. I used a combination of his and yours. He used egg like you did, then dusted with flour, then re-dipped in egg and then in Corn Flake crumbs with a mixture of seasoned Panco bread crumbs 3/4 corn flake crumbs and 1/4 panco. did the 8 and flip reoil and another 7 minutes at 380 degrees. Was the best non fried chicken I have ever cooked! Better than Fried chicken so juicy and tender !WOW
Ok, this 1 yr old but I have question. I have a cosori. Those of us who have usual airfryers do we preheat and do in ours as you fo in your airfryer in all your recipients?😊
I am considering purchasing the OL501 model and noticed they don't come with the crisping basket in your videos. Are they universal if you buy it from Ninja?
I use the crisping basket from my older model. You can purchase the crisping basket separately, but try the rack first you may love it! I am not a fan because it's too hard to get in and out for me.
Thank you so much. Which older model did you have? I see they have the baskets on the Ninja site but it's for other 6.5 qt models. I didn't know if they were universal. Thank you again!!
I do a similar version of these with breadcrumbs, paprika (both smoked and spicy), salt & pepper and grated parmesan (no batter). I usually put them in the oven, but I like the thought of them in the air-fryer. I like the idea of the batter and crumb you're doing, might have to try these! It's good to know how long to cook them for. edit....just noticed your parmesan chicken.
Wow looks and sounds so good. I am extremely excited that you covered the freezing details. There have been times that I wanted a little something and realized that it is Sunday and the Chick-fil-A is closed 😅. I can't wait to try this recipe.
I have the real recipe for the Chick-fil-A nuggets & strips if you wanna try it after you try these. Just let me know. U actually brine the chicken in pickle juice & the odd thing in the breading is powdered sugar!

Adding corn starch or baking soda makes crunchy too.
Great videos! What kind of oil spray bottle did you use? Will any brand work or are there specific features to look for?
Thank you for the video! How many months can the chicken keep in the freezer? Thank you! Happy Memorial Day!
Hi where did you buy your white dishes from please ?
The water, Egg, and flour mixture.... is it kind of lumpy if you fold flour???
Wow beautiful strips Louise
Thank You
There are some lumps, but not too many if you sift the flour. It works great!
Hi, Thank you for the video. Question could you do this with chicken thighs also?

Hello Louise these look great if you are making 2-3 batches of these for dinner how do you reheat the first batch so we can all eat at the same time.
I would throw them back into the air fryer for 2 minutes or so to reheat once they are all cooked.
Thank you for sharing this recipe with all of us.
I have the Ninja, where can I get the basket?
love it!

Where did you get your oil spritzer I can't find a good one they work for about a week then won't spray?
I just got a ninja foodie and I’m excited!!
I’ll be watching you closely!!
Do you have a recipe of Keto chicken fingers?
Does Louise have a cookbook for sale anywhere... and if so, what is the name of it?
Curious what knife you were using in this video? I didn't see any in your Amazon store or listed here..
Cool

These look delicious, do u use shop brought bread crumbs or ur own
I usually just buy them because I don't have a lot of bread around usually.
Can you seal them with a food saver?
Once you bread them I would freeze them in a single layer on a parchment lined tray and once frozen you can use your food saver to vacuum seal them.
I do a similar version of these with breadcrumbs, paprika (both smoked and spicy), salt & pepper and grated parmesan (no batter). What can I use instead of milk?
I don't use milk in this recipe, so I'm not sure how to answer the question. What ingredient do you want to substitute?
Looks so yummy.. I can't wait to try this.. quick video with less talking would have been nice, i skipped the talking part anyway
Louise, I'm wondering if doing the breasts in a brand first would ensure even more most and tender strips? These look amazing; thank you for sharing!
