- N-Scale was the choice for my many years of model railroading, but I was not getting along with the small size as I got older. A few other reasons also led to my entry into HO-Scale, and this video documents the 5 years from the point I tore up and sold everything N-Scale to the point where I decided that I goofed with my first HO layout and tore that down as well. Does your model railroading relate? How so? Please comment and certainly ask any questions you may have!
It looks like a great layout based on the thumbnail. I hope that image will be part of a future video!
Thank you! The image is from my current layout and even then, that shot was taken a few years ago. I'll be leading up to that as the series progresses.
Nice! Those Alcos sure do sound nice! Bowser?
Yes, Bowser. I don't recall if Bowser was a brand I had heard of when I did N-scale, but fortunately Atlas made those C628s. (DC and no sound of course)
I only have room for a 4x8 HO layout ... I already want to tear it down and build an L shape point to point, and I'm only half way done with the one I started ... SMH
It's all about using whatever space you have to create something that keeps you interested. My layouts up until this one didn't offer that. If you try an L-shape point-to-point layout, I suggest plenty of switching options. For me, that is an important feature. Thanks for the feedback!
