I love aikido, but I got fed up with aikidokas who say: OK, I´ll show you what aikido is. Catch my hand. Oh no, you can´t hold it like this. Or: You don´t want to fall... Aikido is a wonderful martial art with great principles and intentions and spiritual background. And it has to work anytime. It´s sad how some people try to make it something rather philosopical and utopistic. They got far away from reality how it all began.
Hello everyone, does someone have a video or some other guide where I can watch his complete breathing forms as you can see here at 5:50min???...As I can recognize the -"yang note kokyu, ying note kokyu still Im missing the 3th one-ki musubi note kokyu- combine principle form.
doesn´t know aikido. You will have to punch him or kick him. But no real aikido techniques. And punching and kicking is not too gentle way of self-defence, is it? Second - his principles don´t work with firearms. Kotegaeshi with a knife may work, if he starts to hit. But with a firearm, no way. And it should work. It has to work. His methods don´t take only a simple hold as an attack. You have to give some energy. But in reality most of holds are motionless. Sorry for that.
