Spot on. I’m a huge Chris Cornell fan. And there was never anyone that could move me the way Cornell’s voice does. Then Stapleton came around and he floors my literally. He’s unreal. Thank you for this. 🙏
@@LetsTalkAboutSinging I sure do get it completely. Got to see him many many times live thankfully. Including flying from Florida to L.A. for his tribute show in Jan 2019. Stapleton performed a couple songs. Needless to say I will never forget it. Much respect to you and your content. And thanks for the response .
I'm a four decade full time musician. You got my sub because you get it. Everything you described about Chris and Morgane is spot on. Chris isn't a "country" singer. The hat fools most people. He's more a soul or R@B guy. Sure, he writes some country tunes. And those are the best of country. Chris and Morgane are a rare couple. A couple that can only be compared to Johnny and June. They are music royalty. You see it when he is singing and she gives him that look. Many would thing it's a wife to husband thing. It's more a musician to musician look. It's respect. It's edification; Heart felt. Paying homage to the moment. You can see the same in the posture of Beth Hart when Joe B. is playing a lead. It's respect.
I absolutely love this comment and totally agree on everything you wrote. And I especially appreciate the sub, coming from another musician. There will probably be more Chris Stapleton videos coming, he’s really one of my favorites! 🙏
Morgane is perfect on backup &, as you watch them more, you'll see that he actually does look at her all the time. On this particular song she is standing to his right. To look at her he'd have to look completely away from his guitar or turn so that his side faced the audience. She usually stands to his left. In that position, the neck of his guitar is pointed right at her & he looks at her all the time. You'll see little smiles between them. Flirting!
Excellent analysis you should check out him with Jompson Brothers. I stongly recommend barely alive. Chris Stapleton could sing by a campfire or on a huge stage don't matter he's definitely one of the greats. I love how he respects music of all genres. Keep up the work
Thank you so much, I’m glad you think that! If you want to listen to me actually singing you can check out my channel www.RUclips.com/PerfectMarkMusic there are both originals and covers 😊
Chris is one of my very favorite singers. He feels what he is saying. The other singers who do this are Asian. SoHyang mentioned below and.from China Dimash, & Hua Chenyu.. Their voices and training are something missing in USA. Your analizing is superb. You are on my radar.. Such a good job. Try these other singers.
Do you know where I can find a copy of this live performance? It was on RUclips but now it’s been taken away and the link says “this is a private video“. It’s heartbreaking because this performance is the best thing I’ve ever seen or heard in my life and now it’s been taken away. All I can find on RUclips now is one 30 second clip or these reaction videos to it.If you can tell me where to find it I would be very grateful thank you.
@@LetsTalkAboutSinging thank you so much! Just want to comment also that everything you had to say about Chris Stapleton‘s exceptional artistry and how it affects you, I couldn’t agree more, I feel exactly the same. What you said about his amazing tone being one thing but his real gift is knowing how to use it so beautifully across the whole spectrum of colors in his voice and with such a natural sensibility for dynamics - from belting a raw, blistering line that suddenly drops back to a soft as a pin drop whisper so gracefully all in one phrase… Well you probably said it better than that but I think we’re on the same page. There almost aren’t words for how deeply this performance touched me the first time I heard it - especially when Morgane appears and starts singing with him. No words. The first time I saw it I had no idea who she was but the way she looked at him, it was no surprise to discover she is his wife. Definitely a match made in heaven. Watching your expression as you respond to this performance, I’m right there with you. This kind of talent is so rare I feel fortunate to have experienced it at all. Cheers 🍀
@@kennystringer thank you so much for this comment! Chris is really such a special artist and singer, I saw him live last month for the first time, it was an incredible experience.
Hey! Just came across your channel because of your Positions reactions and been loving your analyses! I would absolutely love to see you do some on Korean Legend Vocalist Sohyang! She's a classically trained singer who does contemporary pop and gospel music, as well as covers. She has been heavily influenced by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, and she is also an amazing arranger! Many of her live performances have gone viral on RUclips for years now and people love seeing vocal coaches reacting to her. I'm sure you'd love watching her sing and perform... plus, it'll definitely give your channel a boost in views, exposure, and subscribers 😉 Here's a list of some of her best performances you could react to: Arirang Alone - Immortal Songs 2 Lean On Me - Immortal Songs 2 Everyone - Immortal Songs 2 Bridge Over Troubled Water - Immortal Songs 2 I Have Nothing - Open Concert 2015 You Raise Me Up - Immortal Songs 2 Mona Lisa - King of Masked Singer Hug Me - King of Masked Singer Breathe - King of Masked Singer Fate - I Am a Singer 2 Where Are You - I Am a Singer 2 Would love to see you analyze her voice and share your great insights on it 😄
This is a longshot so pretty please react to babymetal - akatsuki. Japanese metal band. Dont be misled by the name. The great singer is 16 at that time. Thank you!
Thanks for uploading! If you have a minute, I've been recording some original acoustic songs. As a fellow music fan, I'd love if you'd check it out. It's on my page. Hope you enjoy.
Hey man thanks for your comment! You really have a great tone and I love your guitar sound too! I’m also a singer songwriter, kinda indie-folk, you might like my stuff too. We’d definitely get along. Look at my other channel Perfect Mark Music or look up Perfect Mark on Spotify or other streaming services if you want to listen to some of my originals!
