Soundcore distorts like crazy in the bass, while the earfun is much more refined in that area, and doesn't distort, also has more punch in the sub frequencies. Vocals are much better with the earfun, more natural, while the soundcore is coloured. The only bit I wish was better in the earfun is the reach of the high frequencies, but what can you do, it's the tweeters that are at fault, or to do with other reasons.

Soundcore only sounds good when it has been equalised, mine doesnt sound anywhere near as bad as the one in the video after equalizing

You should've used the Oluv's signature EQ. Those are far better than default eq

If you have a mono mic, which you used, you should have set the earfun in the indoor mode, or studio, or outdoor as it doesn't mess with the stereo information (that causes frequencies to cancel eachother out while in mono, and makes the earfun sound worse than in real life). Also the earfun should be placed at the edge of the table, that's because all the tunings indoors were done on the edge of the tables. :)

@@storytripperhd Blast seems to have a unfixable dip at 5-6k region, so in your opinion EQ can make it better than UboomX?
The bb3 is more heavy and better hardware so it is for sure it would sound better with proper EQ though, We need more video of comparing UboomX to the others, after all its biggest advantages is the usb-c charging, 4 kg weight , and 7 EQs mode for different environments, that you don't have to EQ yourself.

Sounds really natural and clean to me while the motion boom sounds overly boomy
