I've been playing a Yamaha EW400 for a couple of years now, and the one thing that drives me crazy is the lack of imagination in the 3/4 time styles. I really want a "rock waltz" sort of thing, but the closest I ever get is a "country waltz" or similar, but the percussion always ends up being a slushy brushed snare or hat that's too weak for the rest of my band to hear/follow. How do you make it so the accompaniment on the left side, and the main instrument is on the right side? When I play a chord, you can hear both the accompaniment and the instrument at the same time throughout the whole keyboard.
Brother I am using korg i3 manual 1993 could you please guide me how to set chords setting to give background ground music. It's being played with Rhytm but when I want to play without rhytm "just chords" on the left hand can't be Able to play not sure the issue or maybe I have done the settings out. So please guide me how to setup again.
I know that country style its the same on the PA3x pro and by they way this same style sounds nearly the same on the korg i30 one of korgs first arranger keyboards.
Are the styles, intros and endings copyrighted by Korg? -- Are you free to use them without permission, credits or royalties? Example...Say you want to compose an original song or arrangement and use these features, can you be sued if the song gets picked up and/or played in public? Not just Korg but other arrangers as well from other manufacturers...I've always wondered about that.
Is it me or are those styles in keyboards purposefully, cheesy? It doesn't matter which keyboard you have it's all very uninspiring. The Yamaha PSR did however push the envelope but still not truly inspiring. But I always hear immediately when there's a 1 or 2 (wo)man band playing a keyboard arrangement and I rather settle for an acapella or one instrument session instead.
