I'd remove the magnet, dremel away the three magnet holding pockets then fill the pod with an oblong of lead.
That is exactly how the pod in my 917K Martini is. Some love being planted with lead, some don't seem to require it

I'll bet. NSR may sacrifice a bit in the livery for what they may pay into, but certainly not on performance!
