- What games would you recommend in the Napoleonic genre? And why isn't this genre covered more often!? This channel has been in existence for over 10 years, and I really need YOU the viewers to help me with those likes, comments and subscriptions. @@kazutoyoh165 Don't quote me on this but I do believe last I checked that Western Governor University (WGU) had a Historical Gaming class, not sure about an entire degree.
Man, AGEOD's napoleonic game had so much potential. Finally we had an entire map of europe and you could play any of the major factions, but alas a horribly implemented game. Hopefully someone does something similar and its a playable game.
Waterloo: Napoleon's Last Battle and Austerlitz: Napoleon's Greatest Victory were excellent.
Yes I would agree with you. These games are AWESOME! WNLB, and ANGV are the best! I have played all of the mods for these games; Marengo, Eylau, Aspern-Essling, Wagram, Borodino, Vitoria, and Ligny. Unfortunately I have a new computer with Windows 11, and none of these games work for me any more. If you have an older computer, these mods still might work for you. Did you every play Sid Mierer's "Gettysburg?

I have plenty of John Tiller HPS Games,old school is still the best school,like my Strategy and Tactics and Avalon Hill Board and Magazine Games,too many of these downloaded games have problems issues and not correct historically with units .
I'm hoping the new Napoleonic Wars mod for Bannerlord will be just as good, if not better, than the one was for Warband.
Spent a lot of time on that one!
What are your thoughts on: March of the Eagles by Paradox and the new Napoleon's Eagles based on the 1978 War and Peace wargame (I played that particular one in grad school)
Never played the first, although I did do the tutorial for Slitherines Wars of Napoleon. I should be checking out the new one soon, although the board game perspective of Avalons catalogue doesn’t appeal to me much.

I don't understand this video. You are recommending games that are at least 10-15 years old! This may come as a shock to you, but technology has progressed in the last 10 years! I have a new computer with Windows 11, and none of these games work on it.
I mean I invite you to recommend some decent Napoleonic War Games that have come out recently, you'll be hard pressed to find them. Also I have a next gen computer and a high end gaming laptop, it may come as a shock to you that I am able to play every single one of these games.
All pretty mid, sadly not a very well covered period.
