I love this 🤩 it looks amazing I just have a question if you can answer it / will missions come to retail? Because i missed out on the kickstarter campaign so just wondering if there will be other ways to get in the future?
I just have to say, this may be one of the best how to play videos I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Excellent work and I can’t wait to get my hands on this!
Wow, I have NEVER seen a board game video this beautifully made and this well explained. I feel like I'm ready to teach this at game night already... or better yet, let me play this video for them. Instead of confused looks, they'll be even more pumped to play the game by the end. Seriously... fantastic work. Hope everyone sees this!
Well made. This will be one I will definitely play more often than DTA. The ambition was high for DTA and it's still an impressive game where you can get some cards that really feel like you're in an RPG of sorts. The downside for me was the set-up even with the great organization. Each of these 'Missions' really does seem different. Saw one where the player went with Mephisto. There seemed to be this timer on the first side of the board. 10 months will be a long wait. Oh well. By the way, congrats on surpassing $2M in less than 3 days!!!
👍👍👍 If dice throne is going to launch an app it should include a digital scoreboard and progress calculator with sound effects, graphic movement, scoreboard keeping etc for every board on dicethrone missions for both marvel and the original game 👍👍👍 Heck they should be looking into an electronic set that does the graphical features that this video showcased
Is this the new presentation instead of the classic Rodney watch it played videos ? I like Allies cards the most …can I use momentum dial and allies cards in dice throne adventure?
DTA takes longer to setup, longer to play, and is a bit more complex in general. However, it rewards that extra effort with a "campaign" of progression, light 'deck building' across game nights, and legacy content. DTM is much faster to get going, does not require the same group of friends across each game night, provides different goals with each scenario, and is more casual-gamer-friendly. One is not 'better' than the other or meant to 'replace' the other. They both have very different mechanics and provide new challenges and gameplay for heroes that you already own. Chances are high that if you like one and have completed one, you will like the other as well (and won't have to buy new heroes in order to experience it!)
Having played through Dice Throne adventures twice and enjoyed it, I really think this will be an overall better expericence. Just in the fact that I prefer more of the one off scenarios, then a full fledged campaign that is much harder to do with a group of adult friends.
the boost tokens are random as is the start of the crisis clock. Additionally, you can play the same mission again on different difficulty levels. They might also have different "vibes" at different player counts, as well as what particular hero you take to play as. I actually think I'd like to try every hero on every mission just to experience it in a different way. Also, just what cards happen to come up for you, what abilities you happen to get off, all introduce a totally different experience to the same mission.
I think black widow should be nerf late game and buffed early game just a tiny bit especially for group play where she has all the time in the world to get strong and she just becomes busted and then for solos where she doesn’t have any time at all to get strong
I believe this will be better than dta the first time it is played but I don’t really feel like these missions have a lot of replayability. I was excited to have an actual game board but they are so small it doesn’t really feel like it adds anything. At least with dta you get random enemies and loot. I do feel like this is more convenient, dta doesn’t look that difficult to set up but it really does take a while and it will be nice only having to place some tokens around. Like I said I think this will be a fun new experience but I don’t really see me returning to it the same way I do dta.
Wondering if every mission is going to be this straight-forward. Looks like you just walk from one side of the room to the other, while fighting. At least with the one presented. Could get really boring if that's all it is + an AI for a boss character.
This is a difficulty 1 mission that eases you into the game and the rules. They get substantially more challenging and complex as you get further into it.
This looks amazingly crafted! Just wish you guys would have went with the 90’s x-men costumes instead. Not sure why Colossus definitely has it for example and the main playable characters don’t. It’s a shame

Any chance you have a link to that Mephisto gameplay? 👀

Love the video,
Awesome showing of how to to play!
This looks rad! Cannot wait to play!
That was an amazing tutorial vid. Very exciting and fun to watch.

Decided to back my first DT game with this. Looks great!
What would you say are the biggest difference with dice throne adventures?

That was increduble
I was grabbed by this video amazing
I cant wait to play it in french with my family!!!!

This is so much more epic than dice throne adventures
Seems like more up my alley than DT Adventures. Looking forward to trying this one.
Is there any future plans to make another adventure campaign style??
It looks like the missions will be the extremely similar every play?
When is this releasing, looks off the hook.
This is an amazing how to play video
This isn't out yet correct? Or can I go to Barnes&noble and buy it
No me canso de verlo, esta genial, ya quiero jugarlo
This looks epic! Waiting a year will be torturous! 😅
This is going to be sweet!!!
Is it just me or did the voice over sound just like Sean Evans from Hot Ones?
So many mechanics. This game feels so challenging and I don't think my group of friends would enjoy so many systems.
This missions set doesn't come with the charactures shows being played, correct? It's just the missions.
Just the missions.
Anybody know if this is going to retail?
Let's go!!!!!!!!
Not seeing much randomization . Once a puzzle / board is beat . Why play it again ?

I’m glad to hear about that Thor Nerf but I’m worried that it’s gonna make black panther useless in competitive

10:08 they do mention more challenges and puzzles, but we will have to see.

So much cardboard and plastic.
Too much complexity for a casual game
