Both units share the same battery and controllers. However, Thunder’s chassis is developed from Ultra. You now can change/adjust both front+rear suspension.
Thunder chassis design is at its optimum, plus its stock hydraulic brakes work fine even at 86 km/h. Thunder is race ready out of the box, where as Ultra has to be upgrade later on.

That's correct. Thunder is best. It can go off-road if you change to stud tires like the one on Ultra.

Yes you can, but you need to built a connector for that.
