First of all, Hyperthyroidism promotes/ increases HEART RATE, WHICH INCREASES STROKE VOLUME AND CARDIAC OUTPUT...And hence blood pressure. So you may be hypertensive, thats why doctor has prescribed you anti- hypertensive drug..hope u got the point.
