It happened irl, the woman slept with lenses and in the morning she dont remember to take out the old lenses but keep adding lenses when she go to the hospital to take lenses out, they found 22 lenses in her eyes

Talking about the 1st lady with 10 contact lenses in one eye- My sister knew someone like that. The optician didn’t tell her to remove the one she had in, so she had 5 in by the time my sister took her to the optician to have them removed! As for myself I wear glasses and have cataracts developing ( so scary 😩) but I would never wear contacts. No sireee. The thought of something resting against my eyeballs makes me feel weak at the knees. When it comes time to have my cataract surgery I will be so anxious. Has anyone had the cataract surgery? And if so, was it ok? I’m so scared. Thank you for reading this and any answers you may provide. Stay blessed ❤
My grandma had surgery to remove her cataracts. She recovered quite quickly without any problems and she’s around 70. You do need to be a bit cautious about bumping into things as you recover the patch on your eye can mess with depth perception. Good luck with your surgery and have a speedy recovery.
I haven’t had cataracts, but I work at an optometrist with people who have them! It’s a pretty quick turnaround for recovery, and as it’s one of the most common eye surgeries, ophthalmologists are pretty well practiced. Just make sure you get some good sunnies for afterwards! With the old lenses removed, you’ll notice the glare of the sun a lot more. All the best! 🫶🏻
