Suzanne, I absolutely love every one of your videos! Your projects are always stunning! You are so inspiring. I’m 70 yrs old and retired. I only wish I could afford more of the fabulous dies you use. Thanks so much for your videos & techniques!
All your gingers are adorable...love that you mix and match various sets to get the look you want. I really like the white ink detail lines you've added...I must give this a try. Your narrative is LOADED with information, tips and tricks...thank you! You enthusiasm for paper crafting is contagious!!!
Enjoyed your video! Thanks for sharing what you used & how you assembled gingers, tags & card! Look forward to viewing part 2 & future videos! I now have both Peachy Keens sets and my plan if feeling better tonight & assemble ginger family sets! Happy Holidays! 🎅🏼🎄🤶🏼😍
Thanks my Crafty Sis 🥰👍! I'm finally starting to feel like a human being again. I am so behind Christmas is already here!!! LOL. I need another 2 weeks.
Thanks again for another fun and Inspiring video , chalk full of information.AND your so upbeat and encouraging. Thanks Suzanne, love watching your videos
Yay, Misty 🥰! I didn't realize it would keep selling out. I hope Penny Black decides to release the same stitched edge in different sizes 🙏. I'd get the ALL! LOL!
Love these gingerbread people. New to your channel. I too have a small RUclips channel but it’s not paper crafting yet lol it’s diy dollar tree etc but I’ve just become obsessed with paper crafting so soon I’m going to add it.
Ok Suzanne you are my ABSOLUTE favorite person when it comes to cards, crafting EVERYTHING!!! I'm so sorry you haven't been well, me too.... allergies!! I'm kinda new at this card thing, scrapbooking many years, many many years with a 8 year recovering break, but I'm back and learning from you! Love the gingerbread families and the embossing folder. Thank you for all of it!!!
Thank you Lisa 🥰🥰🥰! Big hugs. Yes, this allergy season has been a thorn in my side since Thanksgiving! I feel like I'm finally feeling like I can breathe and think... LOL! And now I need an extra week before Christmas. I'm so far behind, but thanks for hanging in there with me. And I hope your allergies haven't been as crazy as mine. Cardmaking is addictive. I started out scrapbooking too! And then mini albums and now cardmaking. Its all FUN!
I enjoyed your video so much that I had to watch it twice! :) I'm going to save some screen shots of your precious gingers to use as inspiration to make my own. Your color and design choices are perfect. Thank you for sharing!
Happy Tuesday Morning Makes! Lol! Love that you showed this! Aren’t the clothes fun! Like paper-dolls! Lol! Thanks for sharing my dear! I love sharing heART with you! Enjoy your holidays my dear! ♥️ PS: great tips on ginger-inking and card stocks too! So excited to see Cottage Cutz making individual dies instead of plate dies.
Happy Holidays Jill 🥰🎄🥰! I thought I already replied to you. Something is going on with commenting and finding comments on RUclips. So please don’t think I’m ignoring you 😢. I had a BLAST playing with these gingerbread paper dolls. And I didn’t realize the feeling until some commented about dressing them. It brought back memories of my childhood 😌. Paper dolls were great. I’m going to make a quick video to demo the gingerbread coloring process too 😉👍
Thanks 🥰! I'm going to do a quick tutorial on it, because I realize that some crafter's may need to 'see' it. By the way, I LOVED your sequins mix video!!! I would normally mix 2-3 bits, but when I saw that you kept going and each set looked beyond fabulous - I have to give it a try!
All 3 sets are totally a keeper in your craft stash. And they are all a limited run. So you won't regret it. Think of it as a Christmas gift to yourself Lisa 🥰!
Hi Suzanne,, the die that looks like a snow globe is a head and neck and the 2 ovals are the hands. you can see the examples on the bottom of the colored sheet that comes with the dies and stamps. Hope this helps!! I love your videos!!! Merry Christmas!!!
These are so very cute! They could not be cuter. Great job! I have yet to find the 'perfect' brown cardstock to make my gingers. I feel like a darker color is a more realistic gingerbread color, but like you, I prefer starting out with a little lighter cardstock because it makes it easier to see the 'toasty edges' once they are distressed.
If you want a darker ginger, go with the Micheal's cardstock as a base and add a touch of Walnut Stain on the edges and Vintage Photo in the middle. That should work 👍
I finally bought the zig zag dies thanks to your recommendation! Can’t wait to use it. Thanks for the tip on the 3D embossing also. I’ve never been able to use them because I could not get it to work even with just the two plates on my Gemini. I didn’t know you could use just one plate and the embossing folder. I will try that soon.
You'll LOVE the Zig Zag frame die Marilyn 🥰! Be sure to checkout my video where I use it to make a double stacked shaker card. Yes, you have to play with your sandwich. Start low with a scrap piece of cardstock. And then when you get the right sandwich, use your quality cardstock. And you can lightly spritz your cardstock with water (use a mister) too before inserting it into the Gemini - to prevent cracking on your cardstock. The Gemini has a lot of pressure, so that may help too 😉👍
I have to tell you that you are adorable! And an enabler!!! I watched this video this morning but I'm actually watching your video from May(on my son's xbox in my craft/dining room). The Simon Says Stamp hau/clearance video. Well I went to their website and ordered a few "clearance" items. Thanks!! If you're ever on Long Island, hit me up and we can craft & shop 2gethr!!!
You are too sweet Nancy 🥰! Speaking of enabling, it looks like Simon Say is setting up for a huge clearance event with loads of items. They have them at regular price, and I'm waiting to see when the drop and then we all GRAB! LOL! I'll definitely reach out to you when I'm in NY 😍. I haven't been in years.
The fortuneteller looking die looks like it’s the gingerbread head only, if you look at the clothes die set examples next to the small gingerbread die, you can see what they did. 😊
Thanks Minnie 🥰! It was the rim that threw me, but I can save the idea and use it for a Halloween embellishment 😉👍...reminds me of the fortune teller at Disney's Haunted Mansion! LOL!
Hi Suzanne ! New here! Do you have any tutorials with you using the stamps? I have recently purchased the peachy keen stamps and was just looking for something to help a beginner?? I know you are an expert!! Your work is AMAZING❤
I purchased the first gingerbread set and now you just made me get the outfits to match set! - lol!! Now which set has the chef looking white hat you had on one of the gingers?
Merry Christmas 🎄🥰🎄! You’ll love both sets. The chef’s hat is from a CottageCutz die set - Gingerbread Baker 👨🍳! I talked about it and showed it in my last video 😉👍!
@@ACreativeMuse Thank you so much! I actually watched the video before I came across your response. I found that almond paper at Joann’s - I love the difference it made. Thanks so much ❤️
That crystal ball thing is the meant to be the head , I realized after seeing the picture display. the oval things are the hands, for placing behind something,
