      Don’t worry too much about the dashes in her poems. She had her own unique style of punctuation and syntax. She, for some reason, preferred to use dashes instead of full stops, commas, semicolons and other conventional punctuation marks. In some instances we can see that that the dash means a pause, may be when the poem is read aloud. She also uses interior capitalisation, i.e., capital letters in places other than the beginning of sentences. That too is part of her unique style. Her poems are so very beautiful. Do not let the peculiarities of her style and diction stop you from enjoying them.
