Love Boney James but I think you might be sleeping on some other reed players by crowning him the "rawest sax player" for example Kirk Whalum, Ronnie Laws, my personal favorite was George Howard RIP etc...but Boney can lay some serious riffs so all love to him.
I enjoy his music greatly, however, he also reminds me of Paul Taylor who plays the same instruments & both wear dreadlocks. It is really great to see them both on stage playing music together. Great work & SUPERLATIVE !.......John.
