Rebecca is underrated, undervalued, underappreciated, and underpaid. Why she isn't an international star boggles my mind. I guess people, especially the young don't much care for this style of singing, which is a great shame.
I am 19 and I listened to this song when I was 17. It made me think about the woman I might be one day and there will be the point in life, when you look back to the days of your youth and you'll ask yourself if you'd look back in regret or just in melancholy. And she captures that emotion perfectly for anyone who feels that point came.
Rebecca, you are sooo beautiful inside and out! You have an innocence about you, the kind that is lost today and I know Simon also saw that in you. I can't get enough of your voice. Then I heard the X-Factor compilation, with tears in my eyes when she sang "Make You Feel My Love". I predicted that she would perfect her craft within 7 years of X-Factor, & judging from the more recent videos I've seen, she has done just that. Love you & your work Ms. Ferguson! Definitely headed for the history books of music anthology.
