Few months ago i started on a Journey to becoming a certified Data Analyst. however, in my mind several thought are trying to hold me back which are; thought of having little no computer skills; my age( 50years). listening to this interview , my view concerning those limiting factors has really changed . Thank you Teju for this great content. This really changing lives
The biggest motivation for me is Teju's father's words to him...if you think you are old in your 40s, wait till you get to 70. Then you'd realize how young you were ...Words on marble✍🏼 these words change everything I've thought about my age❤

Pastor Precious is the truth! He does have the ability to break down concepts. He’s a born, gifted teacher. You can sit under his teaching and be invigorated to go do something great! I will never forget one of those evening meetings at Unilag fellowship Christ Embassy..it was about 2 days to exams. He taught about your spirit man as a Christian and how you can do whatever you set your mind to. He spoke to my mind, my spirit! I went back to my hostel feeling like I could take on the world…we’ll ace my exams. I read…I grasped…easily… and made my highest GP before then and from then on, it was forward ever. I still use that super power sometimes 😊 Thank you Pastor Precious!
I have a similar story with pastor precious, I was a pastor but i was unjustly sacked, life became hell for me..I later ventured into tech due to hunger and frustration. Now I tech tech in Nigeria and I work for US based company from Nigeria.. No knowledge is a waste especially the one you got in a hard way.
Awesome and thought provoking. I am 50 and one of those who believed that I am expired as far as IT eco system is concerned..I have worked on IT sector for more than 20 but still could not reach to the height of my career. I have attended many courses and had many certifications but each time I want to apply for new position, my mind tells me not to waste my time since the system is no longer for persons of my age. Well... with this inspiring words I can still do more.
Thank Teju for interviewing Dr. Precious Oshideko, this resonates with me, I'm on this journey as well within the same age bracket, it's an encouragement. "Don't wait for people's validation"
God really led me to this, oh God really loves me, thank you teju and pastor precious God bless you guys richly am really hungry for this, you resonate my prayers and desires. Oh God really answers prayers,
So good to see you again Pastor Precious,I had a youth conference meeting with you in Uniben, I was about 19 or 20 years old ,today am 40 and you are still inspiring young people, and still look and sound thesame, more grace and God bless you Sir
it is by Gods grace I came across this video, and the only reason I clicked to watch is because il b 40 in October, um here in the USA and life has been too tough...the only thing that kept me going was God and my soon to be 5yrs old daughter...the truth is I have fallen, lost myself and getting up is what I have been trying to do...my faith has really kept me going. I am looking forward to my 40th...but its a shame that it has taken me 40 yrs and still dont got it!.... but after this video...iam striving for nothing but consistency...Dr Precious you will soon hear from me...Thank you Mr Teju for your channel! may God continue to bless you both
It's 4:15 am here in Abuja, Nigeria. I finished my upskilling lessons for the night and over an hour ago and I miraculously stumbled on this video. I agree with what he said about hunger or desperation for the knowledge. I remember learning about a particular course and got a job with it but was fired within 3 months for non-performance. I retook another course and the way I sponged off everything in that class was definitely different. By the time I landed the next job, I knew something had changed, became more knowledgeable and was able to impact the organization and had new people to the company learn from me.
