- Here's a rare zenith H619T radio with the 6Y60T chassis. The info I found on Radio Museum this was some sort of Rare export model?? I've been unable to find a schematic or any service info. Let's see if we can fix it without a schematic.
Model and chassis numbers with T at the end of it denotes export model. There was also a 6Y61B (T) chassis which had
two smaller speakers on either side of the main speaker in center. These were the wood cabinet version. There is actually
a knob in the center of the dial pointer for a tone control. I would suppose this unit was made for armed service personnel
and sold at military supply depots overseas hence the 110 Volt power transformer. Thanks for showing this rare radio RR!
Lol,,, I love watching tubes being tested I have no idea why but I enjoy it..
You grabbed a numbers station. Excellent.
I pick them up here often. They're coming from Cuba.
Awesome! Thanks for the video, and all the best to you!
Cool radio! I don't believe it's an export model since I didn't see multiple taps on the transformer.
You did a yeoman's job getting that radio going without any service info. Like that it has a copper plated chassis.
If the tubes are good, everything else is salvageable.
Saludos desde Cuba!👍
Hello , I need the tuve numbers for H619T AM ,FM radio Zenith, please
Do you have a 100 foot antenna wire hooked to it.
Hi, I have a Aviola Model 502A, bought from a garage sale. I don’t know much about radio, when I turn it on it makes a buzzing noise. Do I need a new antenna or some sort of modern attachment?
Thanks
Sounds like it needs filter capacitors
Maybe they Had a Vfo, like a Gonset SSb, hooked up
A 1956 model with no Conelrad marks at 640 and 1240 would have to be a model for export to Canada or Mexico
