It's the first and ONLY time static hook has ever been useful! It makes the crystal phase way more consistent! I love trying to find strats that can be easily replicated so my nohits are somewhat useful
Oh my god, I'm so flipping happy I came across this vid. I had no idea that hook existed, and I always flew to the walls during her giant explosion bullet hell phase. I missed out on so much damage.
I'm glad I could be of assistance! Providence is one of those (infernum) bosses that once you learn the tricks to defeat her, she becomes (somewhat of) a cakewalk!
Providence is one of those bosses where it’s easier to learn the pattern to preemptively dodge the attacks rather than rely on reaction times. It results in one of the cleanest nohits I’ve ever done!
oh hey, saw your comment on my provi nohit around 5 months ago (as of posting this comment) and you actually did it, thanks for using my (imo) subpar nohit as guide
@@KomeijiTerraria Nah man your nohit was clean. Seeing as you didn’t use the static hook, I’d say it was pretty good. Thanks for the help, I really needed it!
Did bro just nohit provi?! Dude at this point you're invincible lmaooooo, such awesome display! Btw maybe the DoG nohit will be easier than most Probably due to the reason that you nearly need to nohit it anyways lol
@@varun3771 Yeah, providence is one of the bosses that would be impossible without no contact damage. The use of the static hook just trivialises the crystal phase, it’s SO much easier than relying solely on wings
@@synad5933 Providence is one of the infernum bosses that gives you infinite flight. Other ones include the profaned guardians and some phases of the exo mechs. Hope this helps!
Static hook for the core portion of the providence fight is ACTUALLY genius!!!!

I really like the way you dodge the attacks, it's like you're fighting against the code instead of the boss itself.

@@manstermanman08 Glad I could help, the static hook trick is the best thing I’ve ever done for any boss fight

@@TheCultist-0 Oh thanks bro, I didn’t even realise! 😂
I’m sorry for ever playing your game lol. But fr you’re actually amazing
Hey thank you man. And don't worry, anyone can get good at this game as long as they don't touch grass :P

@@Legendlion2922 Thanks man! DoG will definitely be 100x easier, although polterghast is possibly proving to be even harder than provi..
She deals no contact damage ? That’s useful. Also don’t you get infi flight time ? Why use the hooks then ?

How can you fly for so long?
