At least he finally admitted to calling hea-tails.
I remember...that ruined my Thanksgiving
Ruined mine too. My girlfriend and I got into a big argument
@@JamesZ1025 arguing over whether he said heads or tails??
@@voyager5174 seems a bit overkill if true 😂
As a Lions fan I ❤it!
It’s terrible that a coin toss ultimately decides the outcome of a game.
Not anymore. Overtime only guarantees who gets the ball first now because both teams will get to possess the ball in the overtime.
Geno Smith be like "hold my beer"
Bus, you shouldn't have changed your mind half way though ☝🏼
Don’t even matter the lions still suck
I said, you know what, let me switch to Tails === The Most Legit Statement Ever. We should all say, you know what, let us switch to Tails.
Hea-tails
He shouldn't have said Hea-tails
Famous Heads Tails hestaintation
The Bus sure seems like an awesome dude
He said hea tails
But the coin toss wasn't over. If he said it after it was finished, I can understand, but he said it way before the coin even landed.
That's pretty ridiculous, and this is coming from someone who doesn't even watch football.
wavematrix yeah but the rule is your first call is your official call. you cant start saying one and change it to the other. jerome is just a dumbass
Get your feet off the logo!
If the coin flipped to heads and the ref thought he said tails, bettis would have been arguing heads.
Matthew Rocha it would be dumb if he did because he said tails last and everyone heard him say tails... so that wouldn’t be a smart move
@@kinglinner7718 and he said it before it hit the ground. .
If it landed heads and the ref gave it to Pittsburgh it would have been even more controversial. Detroit would have gone mental.
The Bus won in the end of his Career atleast
Bettis said Teads!! I heard the enhanced audio of it. Dude screwed it up and blamed it on the official.
Bruh the official rushed that shit tho. He didnt even ask if he was ready he just yeeted the coin.
@@mrfett7582 No he didn't. He asked the Pittsburgh captains which one of them would make the call, and after doing that he tossed the coin. It wasn't "rushed" in the slightest.
I direct everyone I run into in life that claims "Bettis said Tails!!" to this video.
Why? Because you get to hear Bettis himself admit he didn't say just "Tails". lol.
Even after watching this interview, some people STILL say he only said "Tails".
He had *two* words to choose from. Heads or Tails.
and "Huh-Tails" is still not "Tails".
Under the NFL Rules at that time, that equates to "Heads".
Hate the Steelers love the bus
