I’ve had the regular before on a Hawaiian cruise and loved it but the cove actually looks nice and Private. The price difference between the two is only a $100 so we are still up in the air, but thank you for your comparison!
We have room 2272 booked for May 2025. Question...did you hear anything from dining room above you on deck 3? We've never booked a cove balcony before, just normal balconies

So glad you showed the over-the-rail view of the balcony over the promanade deck. I would hate to be subjected to a bunch of half-drunk, cackling, middle age women down below me in the hot tub.
Our kids gave us a gift card for Carnival. We have cruised before but this time is very special. Anyway, we had booked a suite on Carnival Breeze, deck 7. My husband took one look at the view from the balcony and said absolutely NOT! So we switched to a deck 2 cove balcony to have a view of water! And received a $988 refund! I don't know why the designers thought people wanted a view of hot tubs from their balcony. The Carnival Magic had regular balconies at the water level.
We will be in this same room next month. Thank you for sharing your video. I do have a question, while sitting out on the balcony did you get wet being so close to the waterline?
We had a OS SUITE ON the Triumph in 2019 rm 7322 and a grand suite on the Valor rm 7306. Neither had the extended deck on the lower portion. Balcony looked like that but when you looked down, all you saw was water. Different design. 2 floors above casino and 2 floors below Lido for buffet dining, pool , movie’s
Nice review, however one thing stood out. If you want to sound like a professional Cruiser the "floors" should be referred to as Decks. You are on a ship not in a hotel...

We had a balcony on deck 6 and we noticed these cute little cove balconies while in the ports of call and I really wanted to look into them for the next time we sailed. Your video helped give me a good idea of what to expect. I think we will definitely give one a try. Thanks again!
