Hello fellow Canucks (and yes we are Canucks fans ...). Now that you've had some time the think about your trip - would you have done anything different on Kyushu? Feeling that while we must see Beppu, there are more natural onsen and nature experiences as we start to plan our itinerary for April when we head back to Japan for our second time and to Suzuka for the F1 and then south. Super great tip on the ferry btw - we are so taking a Sunflower ferry. Thinking north to south and then working out way back. Really enjoyed your Japan trip and thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Another great adventure. Like Talia, I'm not into Ramen or vinegar and socks either. That corn looks awesome !!! I totally loved the pack raft trip; the scenery looked so beautiful on camera, it would have been jaw dropping in person. Just want to confirm with Talia; was it comfortable? 🤣 Not sure I would have cared for steamed food either. And of course, Madison HAD to have some bakery...so yummy. There are only a limited number of good ramen stalls, and some are better than others, so if you are not an expert, it is better to try other oden or meat dishes recommended by the stall owner. Hakata's tonkotsu ramen has a strong flavor, so it is recommended to eat it at a famous ramen shop with a good reputation, such as Ichiran or Ippudo.
Love love love your Japan series. We’ve been there twice and you two are showing us places/adventures we are for sure going to visit next time we are there. Love how honest you are with the food. Your videos are very entertaining to watch. Can’t wait for the next one!

Hahaha😂 Hakata ramen is known for being super smelly, and it’s all because of the pork bone broth-they actually try to make it smell that way on purpose. I saw a RUclips interview with a shop owner who said he can’t meet anyone without showering first, and some landlords won’t even let him rent a space once they find out he’s opening a Hakata ramen spot. That’s how strong it is! I am not a fan either😅
Talk about awhole different way of living. The things I have always heard about Chinese and Japanese people is that you never see a heavy person. IAlways good seeing you girls.
Hello lady's Your video makes me hungry And I sitting here with a Peanut butter sandwich But what a beautiful surroundings I have been to japan ones in the town of Fujiyoshida Where the have beautiful hiking trails We walk the Mountmisutoge trail a 15,6 km hikthat took us 8,5 hours ( its a heavy trial ) I actually thought you were going to get a ice cream after diner Unfortunately I was wrong Have FUN and be SAFE And, only in Japan you are BIG

こちらでは博多ラーメンなど豚骨ラーメンの仕込みで出る独特の匂いは苦手な人は多いです。
でもあの臭さが好きなラーメンマニアも結構いますから、ラーメン店もわざわざ臭いスープを作ろうとする場合があります。
でもやはり店の周辺まで匂うので、近くに豚骨ラーメン店が出来るのを反対する住民もいます。
一蘭のような大手チェーン店なら調理工程はシステム化されて悪臭の無い状態でしょうけど、屋台のラーメン店はどうしても匂いますし、この臭さが好きなマニアには人気ですから我慢してください。
