They did try In-N-Out. That's why Jihyo said she preferred Five Guys. In her 4th World Tour vlog, she ate In-N-Out takeout on her hotel room balcony. The host phrased the question as, "have you been to In-N-Out?" instead of "have you tried In-N-Out?" Which is probably why he might've thought they didn't try it. I love the Jihyo driving meme 🤣🤣
Thanks so much for the insights and explanations everyone. I’ve tried both In-N-Out and Five Guys and both are really good. And we’ll see if there’s a Nayeon driving meme next. 😂🩷
@@goku1-a671 I like Five Guys, but not better than Shake Shack. Hope they try Shake Shack next. I've heard good things about In-N-Out (don't have it in my country), one day maybe I'll get to try it and see if I agree with Jihyo 😂😂
It's very hard to learn English for East Asians because it is from a completely distinct language family and their way of pronouncing and understanding the language is COMPLETELY different from the european languages so it is pretty normal.
@@whenlifehitshard-c3h True, English is very different from Korean, but that doesn't really get TWICE off the hook. Several girl groups in K-pop have achieved English proficiency quite quickly, or at least have a couple of members who know English well, despite being completely Korean. Based on that one could ask, what's TWICE's excuse? Nine years in the industry and only recently have they begun to know English a bit. A couple of years back none of them could answer English questions in interviews, and they're nine members. On top of that K-pop agencies provide lessons in English, and TWICE has due to their popularity been touring abroad for some time already, during which knowing English would have been very helpful. I feel like their company dropped the ball on that. They should have pushed the girls to actively learn English faster. JYP's English is near perfect, but he clearly hasn't emphasized how important it would be for TWICE to learn English.
@@ahillmann i agree, in itzy even tho they already had Lia, the rest study very hard to the point that ryujin is already fluent in english and is capable to have conversations and the rest are able to keep up basic conversation. In Twice's case i think that they just gave up, they do study english but just enough for pronunciation for their english songs and unsterstand the basis but that's it. As we can se here they do are able to understand english because they sometimes replied to Jojo inmedietly after he asked without the translator, but even tho they got the question, they still answer in korean even for simple answers, like Nayeon whe she was aked "do you have a license?", she understood right away, but she still answered in Korean, a sentence that I'm pretty sure she would be have be able to say it in english, so either they are too shy or they just don't even try to answer it in english
@ Thanks for the tip. I started studying Japanese as a native English speaker in 1995. Were you even alive then? I have long since been perfectly functional in a Japanese workplace and working with Japanese clients. You are not educating me. Your excuse is also feeble. Watch members of IZTY, IVE, BTS, Blackpink, or any number of other K-pop groups give their interviews in highly proficient English. It is very hard to learn English. It is very hard to be an international pop star, too, yet they are managing that just fine. Choose your hard.
Jihyo's honest "YES" shows what kind of driver Nayeon is😂🤣🤣
Ahh yesss, the on going saga of the Twice girls not wanting Nayeon to drive continues 😂😂
the way that leader jihyo said "yeah" and kinda understand the host, even tho it's english
I’ve heard the members study English and understands it better than they speak it!
I remember tzuyu mentioned that she wish to get a driver license.
Hope TWICE tries In-N-Out Burger someday, it’s really good!!! And if Nayeon starts to drive we may get another meme like the Jihyo driving meme!!! 😂😭🩷
"Those are good Burgers Walter!"
Five guys is undisputably better. They're clearly hamburger experts.

Poor Nahyeon 😂
Twice is so good at everything...except English and driving.
Need to try In-N-Out one day and see if I agree with Jihyo 😂😂
In-N-Out should open stores outside of the US
After all these years as a group with a strong international following, the lack of English proficiency is striking.
