A few things, apologies. - Yes, the letter (calling card) is in fact part of your name. - In a game with few players, the chief investigator is random, but in a larger game it is the person that brought the accomplice. - The calling cards are the same for each player, so if you find a letter that can be also found in another drawing it was probably them. - No one draws the same thing twice. So if their gift is anxiety and the murder weapon is anxiety, then it can't be them. - The calling cards can be the same with another player. - You score points for guessing who killed accomplices (Best Detective), correctly killing accomplices and getting away with it (Best Murderer) and if your accomplice has many murder attempts on them since its difficult to trace back to you. (Best Accomplices). Just hope you guys give this game a chance since it seem to be a game you guys like since you draw good and you play deception games. Honestly one of the underrated games of this pack but I always like the underrated ones. But nevermind all this, you guys are great. Love the vids. Love, Love.
I didn't know that 2 players could share a calling card, I remember one time in a round they called my letter out first drawing managed to forget it, and I managed to misdirect them into thinking I shared one with the other player which I thought couldn't happen.
I really want you guys to give this game a second chance. It seems it would be more fun in larger groups and actually has good potential when everyone understands what is happening. This was your first run and the instructions were not made clear so like Price said you kind of need to fail at least once to under stand. I think that jackbox advertised the game better than the instructions teach it. Please try this again with more people as I think it works better in larger groups.
Streaming your first attempt doesn't help, as the gang would miss instructions and clarifications. During one case, the game first paused to flat out state that Price had to be innocent (due to his drawing of the weapon not matching), yet Rik, Ash, and the audience all went ahead and voted for Price anyway. Or when asked to create a name for your accomplice, Ash was asking what the game meant over the game's explanation of what it meant.
Brought that (9) game really well. Good job there. Y’all definitely need to give the game another chance. It’s a fun little game that’s fairly easy to understand when your in the mind set, yet still complex enough to allow for lots of potential. Not my pick for biggest party game, but definitely an amazing mix-up from other party games. In fact, I feel y’all will really enjoy a second run. Watching the video, it was another case of Stumpt themselves, a consequence of their massive game library and constantly shifting genre pools. (I love this though, so I wouldn’t change it still), but the time they picked Price despite the game clarifying he’s the only one who absolutely couldn’t do it was a major indicator.
I think the idea is that you're all trying to frame each other for murders? So you all make a drawing of something that's _totally_ not a weapon what are you guys talking about, and then other people draw their own versions of the thing to make it _look_ like you were the one to do it. But everybody has a letter they have to hide in all the drawings to do. Then it's just a matter of looking at everyone's original drawings to see if you can figure out what letter they have as a calling card, then spotting the calling card in the actual murder weapon. And I think the whole deciding on a murder victim bit depends on if you can correctly guess who named a guest. If you're the first one to guess right on a guest, you do a murder (but then everyone can see your drawing).
Who ever gift is shown that weapon they can’t have underneath as it would be to oblivious meaning someone else is murder which it mention in second round is solving.
A Little note The game is better if people actually discussed the different weapons with each other but you guys didn’t know that but just for next time Also this is not a criticism it’s just a helpful tip
Seeing you hide the letters in the drawings was really clever! I wish we could see like a gallery of all the drawings at the end Would love to see another go at this with a larger group ❤️
This is one of the ones where it looks like it takes a couple play throughs to really understand what's going on, especially since we can't see what's going on on your phones.
I have now watched the stream twice and also this video once and I'm still not 100% sure how this game works ^^' I'd love to see y'all play it again. Maybe with you understanding it a bit better at the end of this round, another round might clear it all up. I do think there's a lot of potential for a really fun game here, we just need to uncover its secrets :D
so as i understand it, the players start off by drawing 2 weapons/gifts(?) to hide their calling card. Then they invite a guest (trying their best to not make it easy to figure out who would write that guest), and everyone tries to "murder" a guest by guessing who brought them. Im not too sure about the weapon dropped, but i think there's either overlap between the weapons drawn, or the person murdering has to draw the gift of who brought the guest. Then they try to figure out who killed the guest by comparing the murder weapon with the original drawings to see if they can find what hidden letter is the calling card. Its a little bit complicated, and definitely explained terribly (notorious for jackbox)
I didn't knew this game before, so I didn't always knew what happened or how you get points. It would be better, if the subtitles from the minigame wouldn't be covered by your face cam. I don't like this minigame, but drawful animate was cool. I didn't watched the other ones yet
I love this game tbh. Rik complaining doesn’t surprise me. Ash was getting it the most. The letters are from your name…. And always the same same letter. Rick always got K’a and price L. The gift can be a clue to their letter so always hide it well in there two. I love the deduction games tbh and preffer that over voting games
How I figured out each one: Murder case 1: That N Murder case 2: Lower-right is clear, Upper-right is already found, and top-left was obviously the OTHER weapon. It has to be lower-left! Murder case 3: Fail. (When you look at it closely you CAN see the K tho) Murder case 4: Upper-left, there ARE two weapons usable and the K is spottable Hung case 1: Lower-right because all others WERE spotted earlier in the party. Hung case 2: Already done above Hung case 3: That K Hung case 4: I was fooled into upper-right Hung case 5: STILL fooled, although that one was just unfair. Hung case 6: That K
Do y'all have a recommendation for which Jack box Party pack I should get? I'll most likely play it during class most of the time so do with that information what you will.
murder trivia party 2 is probably the only game that will never get old so probably 6. Quiplash is also a classic so 7 as well. Blather Round in 7 is also really exciting to guess, probably wont get old that fast as well. So, either 6 or 7 for me.
A few things, apologies.

I really hope they try it again..
@@Last_Person I didn't know it as well but the game mentioned it in 9:21 or something.
Lol yeah, the fact that they kept suspecting people who's gift was the same was frustrating me XD
@@ithalathegayguy and the fact they kept talking over the explanations then asking about what was just explained!
This is the type of game that I would LOVE to see during Stumptmas with LOTS of people, please and thank you!

At 0:17 Rick was very close to ending his phone's live(

Price naming himself after Ice Nine Kills the day their album drops is so cool
Ah yes. Job Job, the game where you make stupid weapons to kill stupid people with- what game are we playing?
Ooohhhh I can’t wait to get hired by the silly water dispenser.
“Murder everyone. No survivors. That’s my first rule of management!”
(Taken from my tumblr account Booloocrewblog)
WRONG PARTY PACK GAME!
Who ever gift is shown that weapon they can’t have underneath as it would be to oblivious meaning someone else is murder which it mention in second round is solving.
Tony and the Bum Squad had it coming.
SO. MUCH. DEEP CLEANING!
This game is great, but it takes a while to learn. I implore you guys to try it again until you get how it works, cause I think it’s fun!
This game, both trivia murder parties & push the button would be awesome as movies.
Jackbox films
A Little note The game is better if people actually discussed the different weapons with each other but you guys didn’t know that but just for next time

That is criticism but that doesn’t mean its bad criticism is good if its supportive

Price should absolutely adopt that look in real life
Agreed, wish we could see everyone's drawings at the end.

Who's Job Job was it to write the video title?

I don't like this minigame, but drawful animate was cool. I didn't watched the other ones yet
7:01 saw the z there
price sitting here winning #1 in all categories
I can already tell this is gonna be good.
I love this game tbh. Rik complaining doesn’t surprise me.
Ash was getting it the most.

Hung case 6: That K
The attached pictures don't have anything to do with the weapons used in the cases, they're there for reference only.
It's just a sample of each player's drawings.
no one i watched play this seemed to have any idea how it actual worked the first time.
give it it anotehr go i would love to see it more
Much like Jessica Fletcher, this game centers around serial murderers that are also renowned sleuths.
This was so confusing
It was a confusing game til the end and I wish I had friends to play this with because I love to play push the button and fibbage and what not.
this game good but confusing!
This isn't how I remember Job Job going
So my question is why 2 of 1 persons drawings are the same color. I am very confused
Color is randomly chosen.
Please play more.
I don’t think this is Job Job
I don't think this is job job...

Hello
oh no the name they forgot to change it
The setting and atmosphere are really good, however, I'm not sure about the game mechanic itself though...
I have no idea what's going on here🤔
job job?
the biggest problem with this is that the prompt is irrelevant and theres no incentive to actually use the prompt
You may wanna change the title
Why is it called "Job Job"?
Hi
Why is this called job job
Title lol
