  • Could data prices be finally falling? This could be good news for South Africans who have been involved in the Data must fall campaign for a while now. This week saw the competition commission host the public hearings as part of its inquiry into the country's data costs, which are perceived to be abnormally high.
    Data prices could be reduced by fifty percent if the government finally gets around allocating additional spectrum, or radio frequencies, to network operators. To discuss this we are joined by Romeo Kumalo Chief Executive Officer of Washirika Holdings which is a Swahili word for partnerships.
