For extra thoughts for folks, the original I believe was ULTRA by KMFDM. Not only was this famous for these adverts on the VHS's as explained above, but when it came time to replace music for the US adaptation of Street FIghter II's now famous anime, this became the song for the now very remembered fight between Chun Li and the very claw wielding Vega. Chun went to the hospital to hang on, Vega went through a wall so hard he vanished for the rest of the picture. It's believed that Vega did survive, with a very upsetly damaged face that he prized on protecting more than anything else. If there was a win it goes to Chun Li because of such, dare we say it a 'ring out' which is not common to Street Fighter games as to others, but hey. She was also the last to hit the ground, but in Street Fighter lore that would still often mean a double KO. So it could be risked to say that's what it was. Anyhow, thanks for the trip down memory lane. I actually run a little watch group once a week and SFII is one I've selected for our riffing fun. It's also one of the several movies that made me realize that before each film I should talk a little about each flick before we got into it, so another gran piece of history that's come around, to be roasted, but also to be cherished, much like these little nostalgic reminders and the songs that inspire them. 👌😌🥊

Still one of the best fight scenes put to animation, thanks in part to the use of the song for the US release.
Well, now THAT is certainly a wave of nostalgia from the deepest corners of my subconscious. Nicely made remix, too!
this is odly nostalgic
We've watched it on the VHS's over and over again. I know I did.
This was used in US Manga Core ads? Figures. KMFDM definitely fits the vibe of Genocyber, Cybernetics Guardian, or M.D Geist just fine.
Give it to meeee, the Wild Fiiiiiiiire! Don't take it from meh! The Wiiiild Fiiiiiiire!
