Big River Feeder Fishing - Bootlaces, Skimmers & Slabs!
For this latest episode we head to our local river Yare to try and target a few Skimmers and Bream on the feeder.
To find out exactly how we got on watch this latest instalment, from the waters edge.
As usual we hope you enjoy it and any feedback is always much appreciated.
Tight Lines
From The Waters Edge TV
looks like a brilliant days fishing. you even had a cheeky pack of branningtons crisps
Cheers Jack. Haha, good spot that! ;-)
Great stuff that river looks nice and inviting and theres' obviously a lot of fish there. Another great video as always and that was a very nice slab of a Bream at the end. Its better to hook them properly but even if foul hooked they still count.
The Yare is a cracking river system, normally always seem to manage a few fish from there! Haha, I guess you're right :-D
Awesome fishing as always, you can't beat some nice slabs.
Thanks Shaun, glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Enjoyed watching as always a nice video. Thanks
Cheers David, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Great informative video yet again boys.
Thanks for the kind comments Maurice and for taking the time to post them. Glad you enjoyed the video. :-)
I know eels are annoying, but nice to see theyre coming back
It is indeed mate :-)
Term _ do u like skimmers ? because a lot of people I fish with don't like them.
hello m8, have you given up fishing rivers ? any way, the window feeder, do they hold bottom well ? thanx m8. happy fishing, where ever you are.........................
No we'll still fish them mate, although haven't done this year. So many fish to catch, so many venues to visit and not enough time!
good to see another video at last.... getting our mojo going again!!
Haha, indeed! Cheers Carl, glad you enjoyed it :-)
Great vid guys.
Thanks John, glad you enjoyed it! :-)
As always a great vid chaps. Going to have to make the 500 miles round trip soon... Once again thanks both and keep them coming. Don't suppose you fancy a spot of hemp and tares on the stick ?
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time to comment. It's defo worth a trip! :-) Hemp and Tares on the stick sounds good! :-D
What weight feeder would you recommend on rivers?
Hi Craig, it all depends on the size of the river, if it's tidal, the conditions you're fishing in. THere's so many variables and not one answer/weight for every occasion.
Liked before I even watched it 😝
Haha, cheers Daniel. :-D
Классно,молодец
Thanks mate. :-)
Great vid guys.! Laik!
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it! :-)
I invite you to watch my video about fishing in Russia !? :)
Another good video. Surprised, I expected you to knock out more 4-5lb plus lumps that are on that stretch??
We did too Jan! Like Steve said the river doesn't often fish well two days on the trot and the match on the Saturday fished really well, so perhaps that was why. Glad you enjoyed the video though and thanks for taking the time to comment.
you said the peg number but what part of the river is that
It's the concrete bridge stretch.
Have you seen the UK Column news?
I havent Stuart, whats that about?
Type it into youtube with todays date and prepare to be amazed.
Disappointed to hear that you will order from the internet rather than buying from your tackle dealer. He cant make a living from selling bait and for what you are going to save I think its poor strategy. If your dealer has to close down where are you going to get your bait ?
It's because these were a specialist product that can only be purchased from certain places. We always like to use our local tackle shop! :-)
Window feeders are rubbish ! Bought 2 ,tried, no takes
They're not everyone's cup of tea mate! Did you catch on a normal feeder instead?
