- For this video, it is the first of my Planet Coaster Cold Cases, where it's basically part Defunctland and part planet coaster build with POV and cinematics at the end. I had a lot of fun making this so let me know what you think in the comments!
1:42 - Cinematics compared to Hercules
12:22 - Full Cinematics and POV
1:23, you can see me (blurred video) walking by the cart, headed to the right. I'm the one in the red shirt, to the left of the girl in white. We did that walk-by at least 10 times. The park was closed the day of filming this commercial, and they asked a handful of employees to come in and be extras in the commercial. All of us are on all of the rides as they are running. That was such a fun day. I was bummed when the commercial came out and the video was blurred. Also I worked Hercules, I was the first operator on opening day.
Wow! What a way to start the summer!
Great idea. Bring history alive and keep Planco relevant with interesting content.
Thanks! Glad you like it, more to come at some point!
I’ve never ridden Hercules or seen it in person but this thing looked beautiful
is this map available on workshop? i'd love to explore this build, great work!!
Will this ever be on the workshop
I always loved Hercules. Rode it over 20 times. A little ruff, but always a fun experience. Sucks that it is gone. I have only been to Dorney Park once since it's been demolished, and I live only 15 minutes from the park.
I worked the Hercules platform in 1990-91 season.
Do another RMC remake
Awww lil Mike Wagner
It’s a shame they didn’t reuse the area where the first banked turn is .They could have put in board walk like section of the park .
Hey I have a idea why don’t you recreate the original Luna Park from 20s and 30s that used to be at Coney Island in NY .
What happened it’s been two years
I love everything about this, it would be cool if you rmc thunderhawk just to see what that might look like
This was cool, but not a fan of the POV from where my feet would be located.
Cedar Fair ruined Dorney Park there was and still a major lack of new and exciting rides that are not used from other Cedar Fair parks
I remeber getting on hercules with my aunt in dorney park i passed out i banged my head so many god dam time that shit was hazardous as fuck but it was lit to say the least .. sigh.. memories
Hurt your knees
