with the admittedly quick research I just did your date of 1000CE seems to out by about 300 years. That being the case you give me some supporting references for your assertions?
A slightly longer search finds me your source material. I'll accept it as accurate. But if I read it correctly Islam was tossed out before Britain arrived. I'm also not sure what this has to do with understanding Churchill from a different perspective.

The Muslim conquests in India ended with the arrival of the British in the late 18th century. He's very good at lecturing about British atrocities. I assume with other people's atrocities there is a cutoff point when these become politically irrelevant perhaps at around 250 years?
