I particularly loved when you looked up and the branches in the foreground were a different colour than those behind. And the crunch, of course. We had another dusting of snow at New Year’s but it’s gone again. 😢 I hope we get at least one good blizzard this year. We were watching home movies a few days ago and we had so much snow when I was a kid! We played in it for hours, and only came in to get dry mittens and go straight back out again. ❄

You live in a very beautiful region and i really like Canada in general, the climate is similar to Finland, but as you said, more and more countries are experiencing warm winters over the past 20+ years. Finland is still largely the same, but glimpses of warmer air are starting to appear on the southwestern tip (Turku region) Glad you enjoyed the light show.
