As a gun guy I can say the attention to detail on the gun is impressive. Cant tell the exact make of the ar but the models of the EOTech G33 magnifier, Aimpoint T1 on scalarworks mount, BCM MCMR handguard, NGAL and radian raptor charging handle are really spot on.

Ctrl-A in Arma3 switches what side you shoulder the weapon you're a decade late. DayZ (built from Arma) and Vigor (same company as Arma) both have this too.
I got the JP Enterprises Silent Capture Recoil Buffer Spring, and it makes a huge difference on how quiet it is INR no more hearing that spring on the buffer tube

Instead we wait months to get a shit prison map, 2 fucking shotguns, and some pay for weapons skins that are dukey anyhow. Developers dropping the ball hard af. What could have been greatness for a console tactical shooter turned into. A standby to fucking standby for absolutely nothing. Such a waste of potential. It's literally nauseating playing the same 10 shit maps with the same 10 weapons for each class. Don't even get me started on sidearms......... SMH straight letdown.

Suppose it depends on the muzzle device. (Dunno, cant see it) If it's a large multi-stage brake then the rifle will barely jump shooting 55 or 62 gr. Kinda like those Jeagersomething shorts where he semiauto-mag-dumps a stream of bullets. The brakes he puts on those guns help a lot. I have a single brake-flash hider combo and it's considerably softer to shoot than a typical birdcage.
But yeah, in most videogames you can just drill 300y in semi unsupported. More realistic finickiness in handling is always more immersive even across genres.
Any tips for how to enjoy this game ? I have it on my series x and it’s truly a beautifully crafted and technically sound game . I just struggle so much with getting rid of the call of duty style of run and gun gameplay that I struggle to enjoy this gem of a shooter . Any suggestions ?
Just try to stop playing COD lol ngl that helped me. I used to play a lot of domination bc you can respawn but still I'd prefer Push or other tactical gamemodes. Just try to play more of these tactical gamemodes and stop playing COD for a while. It really helped me
I've got an Alienware laptop. Area 51m. Has the rtx 2070. Full power mobile gpu. And desktop class i7 9700. Can my laptop play this decently? Internet is fiber. 1000 Mbps up and down if that matters.

These maps are really hard to run even on a good PC, so if it was on console it would be on the lowest settings and not look that good
Well its limited but mods do exist to a limited extent in Skyrim and Fallout both for PS and Xbox. PC will always have the best options though.

I’m relatively new to this game. How does one keep the recoil down so well? Those follow up shots are great. Mine seems to bounce like crazy.
