Yet another good walk. Interesting post in 2017 said ‘I was landlord of the White Hart in Binsted in Hampshire for 3 years, 53 years ago. When we left, it became a private residence. My youngest daughter Jenny was born there and my grandmother died there. As it was so long ago I doubt there will be anyone who remembers me, Derek, my wife Vicky and our children Wendy, Pippa and Jenny Derek Bush (January 2017)
Hello Kevin Cynthia and Steve what lovely buildings it so reminds me of the farm house that I grew up in, it is a listed building now . I love looking at all the different sorts of buildings. Thankyou for the walk look forward to the next video 😀
Lovely old victorian post box there! Shame church was unsafe to visit. At first I was getting confused with Binsted in West Sussex where they have the strawberry fayre!
I had some ancestors with the surname Binsted. Though I haven’t found any who were born in Binsted village, they were from the nearby towns of Alton, Hollydean, and Farnham, during the 1800’s. All places I’d love to visit someday.
Hello you three. Another of your little walks. I know of Binsted, but can't recall ever visiting. As you said, some very nice properties in the older part, especially that timber framed house next to the old pub. Talking about the church... Did you really say the scaffolding was unsafe?
Thank you, Lionel and Mary 😊. Yes, the scaffold was unsafe due to strong winds, and that caused more damage to the church, sadly 😥. The lady we spoke to said that the scaffold should have been taken down and repairs finished last May.

When you see these old buildings, it makes you wonder how they can have stood for so long. Many dont have foundations
Jolly good! 👍
Thank you, Dave 😊

We were very disappointed with the church being shut 😔

I’ve not really been exploring in Hampshire much. Only on the coast.
Need to explore in land.
Thank you, Claire 😊.
