      *old delhi...foreigners likes its becoz of its busy ness/street food / low cost . Lots of european country has cleanliness but they are not able to attract tourist.becoz they dont have culture/low cost etc.we should proud of what we have ...and try to improve our cleanliness..ban is not the solution.

    I am glad, you chose not to stay at Paharganj. I commented the same last time when you stayed there. That part of old Delhi is the shittiest place and close to the red light district. It's okay to go there just for few hours but staying there is just a bad choice. Unfortunately many backpackers choose to stay in Paharganj.

    most traveller leave delhi with bad impression because of bad choices they make . they goes to old delhi and stay in paharganj area which is near red light area . these 2 are biggest mistake . old delhi is among worst place in india if you hate high population . in delhi always stay in south delhi and stay as far from north and old delhi as possible to have best experience.

    This was great! You are really getting to be an old pro in India!!! Glad you found some good local tours to take. It such a relaxing stress free way to see many hard to find sites, or things you might miss AND there are tours for every budget! Many people always post to avoid Chandi Chowk, but as a photographer it is honestly my very favorite place to wander around. The first time i admit it is overwhelming but on return visits when you know what to expect you can really get a feel for 'classic India" and get some amazing photos. I am coming next month again and am staying near Connaught Place and have just learned that my hotel offers scooter for use! We will see how that experience goes with the crazy Dehli traffic :)

      Chandi Chowk/Paharganj are just pandering to the western stereotype of India.
      There is no reason for anyone to visit - if someone goes to your country do they immediately look for the poorest cities to visit?
      And yet tourists in India first go to the shittiest part of Delhi- then the poorest part of India (Varanasi).

    • @bobbyjett7047
      @bobbyjett7047 4 года назад

      @@AKumar-co7oe The reason i like to go here whenever i visit India is (and i have been all over India, from north to south, east to west) is because it is an amazing place to photograph. There is so much packed into this small space, so many amazing colors and architecture, not to mention the interesting people I find here (from ALL walks of life) I can see where you are coming from, that if a person went HERE only and didnt explore Dehli more they would get a slanted view of India and its people, but i still think CC is a great place to visit! ALSO i am not so sure Varanasi is the poorest part of India. I have visited Bihar and some rural villages that seem much more impoverished than Varanasi

    • @AKumar-co7oe
      @AKumar-co7oe 4 года назад

      @@bobbyjett7047 Varanasi is less than 50 km from Bihar. Eastern UP/West Bihar is the poorest part of India. Even Patna (capital of Bihar) is less shitty and than Varanasi. My ancestral village in west bihar is dirt poor that you have to struggle to find refrigerated soft drinks but it's still cleaner than Varanasi.
      It's like going to Baltimore to experience 'real America', and Petersborough to experience 'real Britain'.

    People make the mistake of staying in Paharganj, old delhi or CP, which are overly hectic and you are hassled, not somewhere you would want to stay. I would stay in the nicer parts are that central such as Jorbagh, Golf Links, Sunder Nagar, Chankayapuri or a little further south in south delhi, like Hauz Khas or GK 1 or GK 2, plenty of nice and relatively quiet residential areas in Delhi that have bnbs or hotels, also the wider area like Gurgaon or Noida have decent hotels and well connected to central delhi with the metro
