I'm so glad that we didn't get rid of him when he wanted to be traded before he wasn't getting playing time. He has a lot of confidence and knew that he could contribute.
PP had a great night. The Cs have such a huge inventory of guys who can go off that by the time you pay attention to the largest threats, JT & JB, one or two of the other threats will cook you. Cool filmwork.
When he took it fullcourt, Tatum held off on the inbound until Pritchard could shake his man, taking advantage of the stopped clock. I think Delon Wright was guessing they'd quickly inbound to another player who wasn't as closely guarded. Then he got cooked.
Anyone recall Adrian Dantley who was short for a forward but somehow would wear people out in the paint? Pritchard has the same thing going for him the way he uses his body to get position and has a big variety of shots under the basket.
I knew this video was coming. Are you gonna make a Drew Peterson video? You hinted at it but he hasn’t been playing so I don’t know. I find him very intriguing though.
Not many NBA players can score 90 pts in pro-am, so he can really play. It has to mean he's hitting a lot of 3s. Pritchard's only horrible season was the Udoka season where he did very little player development & did not have a point guard mentality & wrongly employing his schemes & game plan. Udoka had very few ATO scoring compare to Brad Stevens & Joe Mazzulla. Then was playing behind Brogdon, Smart & White. Kudos to him he never gave up & worked hard, while Stevens prob got lucky to "reduce" his value for the rookie extension.
Do you remember last preseason when we played the 76ers and Pritchard and Tyrese were kind of going back-and-forth? I feel like Peyton could reach to that level. He’s obviously not. Maxey but I think he has another gear that we are starting to see
I don’t even want to think about him leaving us but it’s inevitable.. he legit would be a number 1 option on a lot of teams glad he’s a Celtic for now!
Bucks perimeter defense is awful. Downgrading from Jrue to Dame has had a cascading effect on their ability to contain the ball. They are done as contenders in the east. I think Milwaukee and Philly are gonna slide down the conference standings this season, with Cleveland and Orlando taking their place. Boston Cleveland Orlando and New York will be top four seeds in east this spring, probably in that order. Shoes off! Banners up, baby!
